I agree it can be very useful ... a mall (simple) test question shows it can help in generating more complex jql queries eg

There's a massive con - ChatGPT doesn't know what it is doing.

People have used it in this community several times.  Do not do this.  99% of the answers it gives you are wrong, and the moderators are tired of having to correct or remove the junk it is generating here.

So

  1. Certainly never use it to do this
  2. It can't do this - it doesn't understand the data
  3. Possibly
  4. See 8
  5. How would that work?
  6. Drafting knowledge base articles and documentation - yes.  But never never never post before having a knowledgeable human check and correct all the errors
  7. It might be able to help in some places, but again, it does not really understand the data, and without that understanding, you're probably going to find it gives you utter garbage
  8. Yes, but you need it checked by a human, and have rigorous testing in place
