Need to migrate Atlassian applications from Server based to Atlassian Cloud?
how feasible?
Hi @kapil !
Technically the migration is feasible, the apps that @Phill Fox has mentioned will really help you to migrate over your Jira and Confluence data.
One aspect that we found essential for a successful migration is the assessing and planning of your migration, the two steps are as important as the testing, as a good planning will safe you a lot of work during test, UAT and production migration.
I would highly recommend checking our Cloud Migration center , this is a hub for all the migration documentation and tips.
A common blocker for a server to cloud migration are the apps, and before deciding to migrate, review any apps and custom integrations you may have to determine what you'll need in cloud and the migration paths available. To help you through this, we've put together some advice and best practices on how to assess and migrate your apps using the Cloud Migration Assistants.
To help you and your team with this move to cloud, we’re offering free cloud migration trials to help you explore, evaluate, and test your cloud migration at no cost.
This offer provides a free cloud license (Standard or Premium, up to 5,000 users) that lasts the remaining duration of your maintenance or subscription period (up to 12 months) to make sure your team is setup for success in cloud before you leave your self-managed solution.
Good luck!
