When I create a project by the default is public.
What does this mean?
That anyone in my organization can view and edit, or that any information is shared publicly on the internet outside the organization?
many thanks.
@apoggi - this support article explains public vs. private projects in Atlas: https://intercom.help/atlas-by-atlassian/en/articles/6403749-restrict-the-viewing-and-editing-of-projects
This article explains why keeping things public is helpful: https://intercom.help/atlas-by-atlassian/en/articles/7934532-how-to-combat-task-loneliness-in-software-engineering-teams-with-the-uber-stream
As I understand public means that the information are shared across teams inside the organization.
is that correct?
I'd like to be sure that the information are not shared in public internet outside the organization.
Many thanks.

I am still confused about the difference between Public and Private projects. I have the following types of users identified in my Organization:
I want Admins and Managed Users to see all Atlas projects. I want Non-Managed Users to see only specific projects. I want Customers to see no projects.
How do I set this up? If I default to Public for my projects, will Non-Managed Users be able to see these projects as well? If so, then it seems that I need every project to be Private so that I can lock down access to projects.
Feedback?
