Hello Santhi,  Some helpful hints.

Use a Short and Easy Sprint Naming Convention: ... XYZ 2022.01 for instance.

Use Confluence and create a Quality reporting page for Jira Issues. This will help you track down Stories that are incompletely populated. You can create Jira Reports there that can be accessed anytime without running again.  Use the Summary setting and it will show a Number of things that meet the JQL criteria you type in the query box in the Confluence Macro for Jira Issues.

Don't make your Sprint Board too fancy. To Do, In Progress, Accepted, Done is enough to start with.

Create Quick Filters inside your Board and then they appear at the top of your Board for fast sub filtering.

Use Labels and (Global) and Components (Local) instead of Custom Fields in Jira

Build Filters then make sure you Add Public access, then use them in Dashboard items.

Use the Wallboard feature of Dashboards for autorunning Dashboards all day long for big screens in hallways, etc.

It is confusing that Epic Link and Epic Name in an Epic both need to be populated with the same stuff.  It is like they split one field into two.  Just the way it is.

Welcome Santhi,

Do you have experiënce in the Role of Scrummaster ?

If not, you can pay attention to the methodology you want to follow.

Understanding the methodology (Agile scrum / Kanban), the Agile ceremonies, ... is very important.

Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence, ...) are great tools, and supporting the Agile methodology, but if you don't know the methodology, these tools will be relegated to ticket tracking.

Some usefull links (but there is many documentation on the internet)

https://agilemanifesto.org/

https://www.easyagile.com/blog/agile-ceremonies/

Understanding the methodology will help you to a better use of Jira.

I wish you the best of luck in your new role !
