Can you help me?

Will Atlassian's Atlas actually be discontinued and replaced by Experience?

Thank you!

Hi @- daniela_toledo_claro_com_br to add to @Mikael Sandberg's answer

We're not discontinuing Atlas but we will be rebranding it and evolving it into the Atlassian Platform experiences.

This means your projects, goals, and other Atlas data will remain the same. With the immediate changes being a new name and URL. So you can keep using Atlas and then Platform experiences as you do today!

You can read more about the change and see some commonly asked question in this post: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Atlas-Group-articles/Atlas-is-evolving/ba-p/2686154

Let me know if you have any more questions!

Cheers,

Nir

Hi @Nir Nikolaevsky @Mikael Sandberg

Thank you for your response.

We are testing the migration of our OKR tool to Atlas, and to proceed, we need to ensure that the tool will not be discontinued and that we will have full support in case of any changes to the Experience platform. Additionally, we are training people on Atlas, so we need to know if the new platform will have the same interface for creating OKRs and maintain the same usability behavior. Could you help us?

We need to clearly understand all the risks of continuing the migration to Atlas.

tks
Dani

@- daniela_toledo_claro_com_br I am part of the EAP and can confirm that the interface currently looks the same as in Atlas, so currently nothing is changing just the way you access it.

What @Mikael Sandberg said, the interface will be identical in the short term with any future changes being a result of upgrades to the experience, not the migration. On top of that the team working on Atlas is the same team that is and will be supporting Platform experiences. And of course as I mentioned before, your data will be automatically migrated.

The main changes of moving to Platform experiences will be felt by non-Atlas customers because they will gain many features that Atlas customers already have. But we don't expect Atlas customers and their people to be impacted by this change.
