Why is my project updated not posted to the connected slack channel ?

I have connected my Atlas project to a dedicated slack channel but the project update is posted to the slack channel. What step am I missing ?

Hi there, 

Did you gave Atlas all the permissions to post on Slack? Please check permission settings.

I connected to a public slack channel. I did not see any setting within Atlas to configure any other permissions

Okay, try disconnecting and then reconnecting the Atlas project to that Slack channel. After that in Atlas, go to your project's settings and make sure that notifications for project updates are enabled. See if that works.

Thank you. Did that. Now I'll have to wait till the next weekly update to see if it works and posts to slack
