Welcome to the Atlassian Guard community group! Join this group to stay up to date and connect with other security-conscious customers.

Today, at Team '24, we announced Atlassian Guard, which marks our next chapter in cloud security. Atlassian Guard unifies existing Atlassian Access and Beacon beta capabilities and brand-new data loss prevention functionality into one product with two plans, and reflects our current cloud security capabilities and where we plan to go in the future:

• Atlassian Guard Standard gives you all of the Access capabilities you know and love, with seamless authentication & authorization and enhanced visibility & auditing.
• Atlassian Guard Premium includes Atlassian Guard Standard and Beacon beta capabilities and goes even further with data loss prevention, expanded threat detection & investigation, and robust audit logging.

How does this affect EDUs that have the free unlimited Atlassian Access license?  Will there still be an unlimited free tier for EDUs?

I found my answer, yes "Atlassian Guard Standard is available for free for eligible Community and Academic customers."
