Scriptrunner script to remove issue assigned to workflow scheme ?

Hi,

I want to create a script which will be run from the console to remove an issue type assigned to a workflow in the workflow scheme. (I want to remove the BUG issue type for the workflow scheme)

The reason being, the workflow scheme is used by 1000 projects and manually making the change and publishing takes a lotttttttt of time. So want to achieve through scripts. 

Is this possible ?

You can do a bulk move on 1000 issues max per time to change Bug issues to some other issue type. After no more issues use the Bug issue type you can edit the workflow scheme, remove Bug and save it. Do test in staging first. And ask carefully why you would want to do this anyway
