I have some users in Jira that are not in Confluence - will they be added if i link Pages?

We are using the Atlas CRM add on in Jira to link issues and now have all of our staff in JIRA as users, the Atlas CRM is automatically linked to the number of licenses for JIRA. For Confluence, only part of our team has a license and uses it but they want to link Pages in the Atlas CRM from Confluence - will this increase the number of licenses automatically in JIRA and Atlas CRM to add all of them to Confluence?

Hi @Christy Burwell and welcome to the Community.

Generally speaking, user pools in Jira and Confluence are completely independent.

If you have 100 people in your company, you can have 50 in Jira, 50 in Confluence with no overlap. Or any other ratio.

The number of users naturally affects your license.

If you link to a Confluence page from Jira, only users who have a full license on Confluence will be able to see the content.
