Confluence does not support or automatically translate your content into different languages, but today, you can learn how to use Atlassian Intelligence in combination with bitvoodoo's Translations for Confluence app to create multilingual Confluence pages in a matter of seconds.
What does Atlassian Intelligence do?
Atlassian Intelligence can help you with a variety of tasks. For Confluence, Atlassian Intelligence has helped summarize long Confluence pages, brainstorm ideas, or even change the tone of a text. Internally, we also like to use Atlassian Intelligence to quickly answer questions without going to the page where the information came from.
What is Translation for Confluence?
Translation for Confluence is an application on the Atlassian Marketplace created by bitvoodoo. It allows you to create different versions of Confluence pages for each language you need. To use it, you simply add a macro by typing in / and the language you need, for example /German, to create a German translation. Then, you can enter your content or insert an existing page. Once you've made the different language versions, users will only see the page in the language they selected in their preferences. Unlike other translation solutions, no second Confluence page is created for the translation. This also means that the Confluence page you translated will only appear once in search results, eliminating cluttered search results.
