Each month, we run a series of Spotlights to highlight Marketplace vendors and apps that our team thinks this Community would find valuable. Last month's Spotlight on K15t, we asked you about how other Marketplace Vendors got their start with Atlassian. 

This month, our Spotlight is on our friends at Gliffy - a company that specializes in using visual aids to help ideas and projects come together!

                                                 

What do they do?

Gliffy specializes in diagramming software that helps all different types of teams communicate and collaborate through visual diagrams. Chances are that you've probably heard of them as they are one of our largest vendors in the Atlassian Marketplace. Their most popular app – Gliffy Diagram, allows customers to incorporate flowcharts, wireframes and other visual aids to use as the one-source of truth in communicating bugs and product ideas.  

Gliffy has had a long relationship with Atlassian which dates back to 2006 when our CEO Mike Cannon-Brookes helped code the initial Gliffy-Atlassian integration with Gliffy's co-founder Chris Kohlhardt. Since then, they've maintained their close relationship by attending the first ever Atlas Camp, sponsoring the original Atlassian Summit, and joining the Atlassian Marketplace back when it was new in 2013.

Newest Product

 Gliffy recently worked with us on a guest blog post discussing the problem the team was trying to solve and how using visuals helped the product ideation come to life. They used that team problem and turned it into their newest app – Gliffy projects. This app helps teams deal with common frustrations such as poor team communication, faulty memories, information fragmentation and helps turn it into a one-stop-shop for information related to your project. Gliffy projects allows you to link your Jira tickets to your project and help you save time by writing lengthy descriptions of what the need is by linking directly to the diagram where information is easier to absorb.
