Mantra's Community Feature allows you to create dedicated spaces within your Mantra Confluence Intranet where colleagues can connect, collaborate, and share content. Communities are ideal for both work-related and casual discussions, serving teams, projects, or interest groups.

With three distinct types of communities – Public, Moderated, and Private – you can customize your interactions to fit any need, making it easy to collaborate on projects or cultivate your company culture.

Meta recently announced the shutdown of Workplace by 2026, leaving many teams in search of a new collaboration platform. If you’re coming from Meta Workplace, the new Community Feature in Mantra will make your migration seamless and straightforward. 🛠️ Setting Up Your Community

1️⃣ Choose or Create a Space

Start by deciding whether you want to create a new space or use an existing one. This gives you the flexibility to integrate communities seamlessly into your current Confluence setup. Existing Confluence spaces can be seamlessly converted into communities, enhancing their usability.

2️⃣ Community Type

Select the type of community that best suits your needs:

• Public Community: Open to all users for both content creation and consumption.

• Moderated Community: Anyone can join and consume content, but only selected members can create content.

• Private Community: Only accessible to users added by the community administrator.

🎨 Personalizing Your Community

Make your community stand out by customizing its look and feel:

• Name and Description: Give your community a catchy name and a brief description that encapsulates its purpose.

• Category: Categorize your community to make it easily searchable and identifiable.
