August 2017, the bitbucket pipeline getting started displays:
"WIndows and Mac/iOS builds not yet supported"
Even Mobile Center supports iOS build and deploy today.
Anyone know if BitBucket pipeline support for iOS is planned?

Generally the problem with iOS is that it requires XCode to build. iOS requires actual Apple hardware, thus bitbucket pipeline support would be illegal until:
1) Apple decides to voluntarilly engage in less monopolistic practices.
2) Apple are forced to because of an anti-trust lawsuit.
3) Atlassian gets a bigger warchest than Apple and decides to drag them to court themselves.

But then Visual Studio App Center supports iOS and Mac OS Builds too.
So do you mean that VS App Center is doing it in somewhat illegal manner? :?

It is highly unlikely that Microsoft is illegally running macOS for VS App Center builds.
Microsoft has probably setup their own racks of MacMini servers running Microsoft virtualization host software that legally run macOS VMs with Xcode installed.
Other possibilities are Microsoft could be using a legal macOS cloud hosting site such as:

Have any of you tried invoking ionic packager for IOS builds in the cloud for this? If so, would love to learn about your pipeline workflow.

Working fine with building Android since it is gradle based. But not sure about iOS. Bcz docker is Linux based. In Linux environment how iOS build will happen? Which ever build will run on linux, those will work on bitbucket pipeline. I am looking to hear from bitbucket team to build iOS on bitbucket pipeline.
