export only the epic to excel

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: JIRA Agile Resources

Hi,

 

I want to export only Epic (which is part of the Project) into the excel - hence I cant do this - it is a waste of time to export all and then look for one by one - which for some reason, they all don't get exported.

You can write a JQL for Epic issues with a certain fixVersion or component that are unresolved and then you can export those Epics via export to excel functionality for search results.
