Work log screen: Set and edit security level

How can I add new items to the "Viewable by" field in the Work Log? Also I wonder to know how can I set one of them as the default according to the current user group. Let say the current user belongs to Group X, this group has a specific leader, I want to set the default to that leader in a way that, only that specific leader can view the work log.

Create Project Role : A

Set Users for A : FOR EXAMPLE --->> User : B

Go to Administration in jira: then click on User Browser then Find your User or B & click on Project Roles then click on Edit Project Roles .set A for it.

Both needs development. You can just hack the logwork.jsp or extend the respective actions.
