Hi All,
I am trying to set up an SDK environment for confluence and i have been jumping form one build error to other. I have had experience of working on CMS like Drupal etc. but this is quite a steep change to say the least :) I have been able to get quite cryptic clues after searching for answers. I was able to solve one of my initial questions https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/47100/solved-cannot-start-the-confluence-sdk-installation-due-to-build-error?page=1
myself after a day of trial and errors :) Wuld like to have your help with this next challenge
https://developer.atlassian.com/display/DOCS/Create+a+Plugin+Skeleton is the step i am trying to follow.
and i use the command atlas-create-confluence-plugin
And the below given build error is seen.
I tried using the workaround at https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/40468/cannot-find-parent-org-twdata-maven-maven-cli-plugin-parent?page=1#40516
by dumping the contents seen at the path
This is the SVN i see http://imageshack.us/f/51/twdata.jpg/

Okay one more answer drilled and extracted after hours of searching...https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/43851/issue-creating-a-confluence-plug-in-skeleton
This is what was needed..
I think i deserve a medal for perseverance!
:)
I found this link helpful, as it turned out, I was running OpenDNS, which mangled the .POM: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/40468/cannot-find-parent-org-twdata-maven-maven-cli-plugin-parent?page=1#63654
Good luck to others!

Works for me as well.. just append version number from "0.7" to whatever backwards or forward
http://twdata-m2-repository.googlecode.com/svn/org/twdata/maven/maven-cli-plugin-parent/0.7/
Into your local repo in you .m2 folder e.g :
C:\Users\<<Username>>\.m2\repository\org\twdata\maven\maven-cli-plugin-parent\<<version>>

I cannot believe seting up an SDK environment is so trivial in Confluence!! So many dependencies even after foloowing the instructins step by step..i am greeted by ...Build fail errors...and im sure its not just me since i have found many queries and workarounds related to the same errors i see...but it doesnt work well for every one i guess..! It is quite a rough sailing as compared to the smooth and efficent support of a Drupal or an Alfresco!
Hope that I am not alone here!
