I have created a simple rss reed based on a search. The content is open to everyone, and it displays just fine when you open it in a browser. However when I try to add the URL to any rss feed readers, it is not recognizing - and sometimes giving me a 400 error.
JIRA requires authentication and Google Reader doesn't support authenticated newsfeeds. On MAC, I use NewNewsWire which does support authentication but I had to make sure this was in the URL querystring
