Hi there
I thought this was obvious but it is obviously not. If you have a comment deleted, the changehistory shows you [oldvalue] [null]. This is nice, you can see if, when and what comment had been deleted.
Isn't it possible to do the same for a comment change. Because the functionality already exists in my opinion, since you only need [oldvalue] [newvalue].
I didn't find any way to do that so far. Any suggestions?
Btw: i was searching the web for ages but it is reeaaally hard to find accurate information about jira developing. There is a lot of confusing information out there. If somebody has some good sources, i'd appreciate if you'd provide them.
Thx a lot
pask

If its any help I have a comment history plugin that will let you view the history of a comment (edited or deleted). If you are interested try looking at: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.redmoon.jira.commenthistory.commenthistory
Just browsing through and noticed this question. I can't say for certain, but when comments are deleted, I want say that the [oldvalue] [null] isn't so much a feature as it is a side effect of data no longer being present. In any case, it sounds like you might benefit from our developer site. Here is the link for your reference:

Good luck to you and keep us posted!
