Groovy Script to connect to external database

I am trying to connect to external oracle database. will it support this in Script runner? if so please let me now the steps

The jdbc url for Oracle should be something like whats documented here: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/appdev.112/e13995/oracle/jdbc/OracleDriver.html
