In a teams Jira Advanced Roadmap that sources 2 boards from a project, I am unable to configure "Story Points" for scheduling. Which is odd seeing both the teams are using Story Points for their work estimation.
The only difference I could find is that one of the team boards is a Kanban board and the Other teams board is a Scrum board.
Kanban board configuration itself doesn't have any configuration setting for Story Points but that doesn't mean teams can't use this technique and attribute their work with Story Points.
It looks like a bug in Jira Advanced Roadmap as surely it shouldn't pay attention to the type of board and limit the measure of estimation. These two things are mutually exclusive and to assume otherwise is an error in the making.
Hi @Tarang Patel and welcome to the Community!
this kb article may offer an explanation and a potential workaround. Even though it is for data center, that is where the origin of plans (advanced roadmaps) were. It indicates how story points were not supported for kanban teams and how switching a team's plan mode in your plan from kanban to scrum may enable story points.
Hope this helps!
