(Portfolio) Is there any way to show estimations on the gantt chart without auto-scheduling?

I want the story length bars to show on the roadmap gantt chart without having to auto schedule and set start/due dates. Is this possible?
See screenshot below. There are story points inputted in specific stories, but they're not showing up in the gantt chart to the right unless I click auto schedule. I want them to show by default so I can move things around and just get a look at it before doing the full auto-schedule.
Also, can you auto-schedule without having to set hard start/due dates?
