We are running an initiative that has items across different jira projects (squads). For the plan I need to bring in the boards for each of the squads that are working on the initiative so that we can see the sprint that the items are being worked on.
However when I add the boards into the plan, we also get a large number of jira items that are not part of the initiative ( other items they are working on0.
My initiative filter organises everything correctly but the items from the boards that are not part of our work, and in sprints, cause warning in the roadmap. They also add a performance overhead because there are a number of boards in the plan.
Whats the best way to remove them from the plan.
Hi Trish,
Advanced Roadmaps are pretty powerful and I think you can go thru some tutorial on filtering issues. There is one example in the Community here that might be useful Solved: How to create a filter for an advanced roadmap pla... (atlassian.com), however I am not sure what issues exactly you do not want to see on the plan.
Try to go thru filters and try to play with them. This may not be a direct solution, so if you have more specific examples, please drop them here.
