"We couldn't find a site" from iOS12

I am trying to login to Jira and confluence cloud on iOS 12 apps. I am getting "We couldn't find a site" message. I am able to login with no issues from desktop and mobile safari. Also my account shows that it's logged on successfully on those devices in 'Recent Devices' section. Any ideas on how to make this work?

Thank You.

Hi, Chandana.

I was wondering if you are using SAML to log in to your Atlassian Cloud site since we have a similar question asked before - Unable to log in to Jira Cloud iPhone App with iPhone 6S. Can you please confirm on that? Since you mentioned that you are still able to log in using the mobile browser, this was the thing that I came across.

Please keep me posted. Thank you.

I have the same problem. Mobile browsers work, iOS app doesn’t.

Hello, @Qian_Chen

Thanks for reaching out. Can you please provide more details on the environment that you are on? For example:

  • The device that you are using
  • The version of iOS that you are on
  • The version of JIRA and Confluence that you have installed
  • The type of authentication (SSO / SAML)
  • Screen shot of the error that you are seeing

That will help us to get more context on the problem that you are facing whether it is similar or not before I suggest if you should add the bug to your watchlist. Thank you.

I encounter the same issue. IphoneXR iOS12.2 & iPadPro ios12.2 also.

uptodate versions of Jira and Confluence.

login through google/okta

Is there a solution I have the same issue

I found a workaround. Connected through email/pass and not through Google SSO.

Email / pass not working for me either
