👋 Happy Wednesday, Atlassian Community! Time for another Welcome Wednesday question: What kind of swag do you love? Caps, pens, t-shirts, mugs, stickers? Have a favorite? For me, bag clips - like the red Yelp clip pictured above! - are always useful and appreciated. And very rare to find, at least in my experience. 📢…

☕️ Hello there Atlassian Community! For this week's Welcome Wednesday, let's chat about email: A certain email provider[1] now allows their users to create email aliases. (Finally!) So, if you created an email like cutie.cat.taco.lover.12345.xoxo@bigmegacorp.emailback in the day, you now can…

👋 Howdy Atlassian Community! It's time for another Welcome Wednesday question. This week I'll ask: What communities are you a part of, and why? I'll start: For me, I've been part of the Pokemon Go community for a few years. There are dedicated volunteers who host in-person meetups, but the draw for me was regulars at a bar…

What films do you find yourself watching again and again and again, and why? Looking forward to learning about new movies to add to my list of "Things to Watch"[1]. 📣 Sound off in the…

Happy Wednesday, Atlassian Community! For this week's Welcome Wednesday post, I'll pose this question: Is there a chain store that you're fond of? 💖 For me, two come to mind: * Buc-ees - if you're lucky enough to encounter one in the States, they have a crazy amount of snacks * FamilyMart - it's a Japanese chain, and my…

When you want to get something done - whether it's a paid job or not - what music do you listen to? What songs or genres get you "in the zone"? Curious what tunes motivate you! Or maybe you like to create in silence. 🎶 Sound off in the comments!

🏁 How do you start a conversation started? 🛜 How do you get people to connect? If you're meeting new teammates, or are at a social mixer, what icebreakers have you heard - or tried yourself - to get a conversation flowing? What has worked well for you, especially in situations where there might be a diversity of languages…

Happy Wednesday, folks! Do you think of yourself as a runner? Do you dabble in the sport at all? (If you ARE a runner, feel free to share why in this post!) From races - and walks - long or short, have you committed to joining any events? I'll start: * I've signed up for a half marathon (March, Philly) and a marathon…

Happy Wednesday, Atlassian Community family! We've all have had writer's block before - how do you beat it? If you want to create - whether it's for a job, a personal project, or volunteer assignment - what do you do when you're stuck? How do you fill that blank Confluence page with magic? 🪄 I've a few strategies,…

📝 What are your favorite tools for note taking? Could be for work, personal, or anything in-between. Also curious about your analog note taking solutions, doesn't have to be digital. I'll start! For me: * I tried Private Notes for Confluence, but that EAP ended and the feature never was released. Would've been nice if it…

In certain Jira Cloud instances, I've encountered "Polaris" link types. Looks like they're created by and used by Jira Product Discovery. Question: Anyone know if it's okay to rename the link types from Polaris to Product Discovery, so other Jira admins aren't confused by them? Related Question: When is it okay to delete…

It's Super Bowl 59! Anyone planning to watch the game this weekend? 🏈🦅 I'm especially curious if anyone outside the States is watching... I'm not the biggest football fan, but I am a fan of being social - and snacks! Heck, I'll go for spicy pepper squid chips, why not? 🤤

What are your favorite tools, and why? They could be for being creative, or cooking in the kitchen, or grooming yourself in the morning.
