I prefer to draft a new article in Confluence (and why wouldn't I 😉). This new editor does horrible things when copying hyperlinks from an external source. It will strip them from where they were located in the content and turn it into a very large and obnoxious card and place it at the bottom of the content. They are also…

Happy Wednesday, everyone! I have two small children, which means I am regularly forced to watch TV shows/movies on repeat regardless if I enjoy them or not. This week I thought I’d ask about your favorite comfort shows and movies that you never get tired of! Is there a film or TV series you can watch on repeat and still…

Hello Everyone! This will be my final edition of the monthly Community Round-up posts. I would like to thank everyone who has engaged with these posts over the past 5 years. I really appreciate all the support you have given each iteration of this series. That having been said, I guarantee there is something here for…

Hello Everyone! Less of a discussion and more of a question, our users are starting to explore Rovo, and one user is trying to setup an agent that uses specific custom knowledge. After she adds a number of Confluence pages, when she looks at the configuration of the knowledge in the default scenario, it lists a series of…

At the end of January, we hosted our first CUG event of the year. I ran a “Rovo for beginners” prep session, timed with our company‑wide rollout of Rovo. The session went over really well. We: Broke down some core Rovo/AI terminology Shared Atlassian learning resources so people could keep exploring on their own And I…

Happy Wednesday Everyone! In Canada, it is currently March break, which is a week off for Elementary school children. My wife and I have also decided to take some time off and use some of this for some deep cleaning that doesn’t always happen as regularly. We are doing some light renovations. We had someone come in to…

Happy Wednesday Everyone! "Life Moves Pretty Fast. If You Don’t Stop And Look Around Once In A While, You Could Miss It." - Ferris Bueller This is a great quote from an even better movie. If you have never seen Ferris Bueller's Day Off I can't recommend it enough! Yesterday, my wife and I took this advice. We got the kids…

Happy Wednesday Everyone! It was about 5 years ago that I took on the honour of making these posts every Wednesday (with a few missed exceptions). I’d like to thank everyone that has taken the time out of their day to engage with these posts, it really means a lot! However, I’m passing the torch and stepping away for a…

Happy Wednesday Everyone! It’s almost become tradition to do this every year now. People seem to enjoy participating in building a story together a few lines at a time. I’ll kick things off: The last meeting has finished and the boss is making the rounds telling people to feel free to take off early. Just as you are…

Happy Wednesday Everyone! While kids make a Christmas list of all the toys they want Santa to bring them on Dec. 25th, I’d like to give you all an opportunity to tell Atlassian what one change they could make that would feel like a Christmas miracle to you. Disclaimer - Let’s please keep this respectful and constructive…

Happy Wednesday Everyone! Growing up, it was a yearly tradition that my sister and I would help my mom with a bunch of the Christmas baking. My wife and I have tried to continue that same tradition. One thing we make sure to do each year is bake home made gingerbread men. Both of my kids love using the cookie cutters to…

Happy Wednesday Everyone! Back at the beginning of November, Atlassian held a virtual webinar about “Unplugging“ for the Holidays. And, if you have been paying attention to any of the #AtlassianCreator posts you make have seen how some of them plan to use the Team Work Collection to help them unplug for the holidays. My…

Happy Wednesday Everyone! We got a bit of a shock yesterday with a significant amount of snow and ice. So much so, that the schools were closed! This was a very healthy reminder that it’s becoming that time of year when a warm cup of coffee (or tea!) feels extra comforting, and the urge to stay cozy indoors grows stronger.…

Happy Wednesday Everyone! Next week is the start of Atlassian’s Month of Good in the Community Ecosystem. And, next Tuesday specifically is giving Tuesday where a number of charities are under additional load due to the holidays approaching. I don’t have a question for you this week, just an ask that if you are able, find…

Happy Wednesday Everyone! If you asked me the stance my company was taking on AI tools at the beginning of last year, the answer would be: “Looking, but not engaging.“ As of the start of this year, we have a team dedicated to reviewing AI tools (I’m not going to go into deal about that review process). However, those that…

Happy Wednesday Everyone! I went to Costco the other day and on my way out, after I loaded everything into my car, a gentleman came up and asked if I wanted him to take my cart for me. Expecting that he was simply being kind and taking it off my hands because he was going to use it for his own shopping, I happily…

Happy Wednesday, everyone! Halloween just ended, and while I'm fully in the camp that it is too early to start putting up decorations and celebrating Christmas, I'm 100% on board with trying to get as much of the Christmas shopping done now as possible. My mom has always believed that you can enjoy the Christmas season…
