I prefer to draft a new article in Confluence (and why wouldn't I 😉). This new editor does horrible things when copying hyperlinks from an external source. It will strip them from where they were located in the content and turn it into a very large and obnoxious card and place it at the bottom of the content. They are also challenging to remove as while editing, accidently clicking on them goes to said content. It doesn't appear as if there is a way for us to choose how links are displayed or to add the content directly as raw HTML.
All of this makes authoring content much more difficult than it was previously.
