Butler - how to set a label based on a variable
Hi there! I'm wanting to create a rule that looks something like this: "When custom dropdown is set, apply the label {customfieldvalue}." So, let's say the custom field is set to "DOG", it should apply the "DOG" label. If the label exists, it should apply the pre-existing label. If the label does not exist, it should…

Dashcards documentation?
Hello! Hoping to find out some more info around Dashcards and wondering if there is anything sort of help documents out there? Or maybe someone here can help? I just have a couple of basic questions: 1. The history and alert features show a little briefcase icon next to them to show you need a paid Trello plan to use them.…

[Trello Holiday Calendar] Day 15: How to better visualize work using board filters and views
Back again with another Trello tip! ✨ Does your board look a bit like this? When you’re faced with a wall of cards on your board, you might find it hard to understand where you need to be focusing your efforts, the board becomes a pain to use, and cards start to become stagnant. In this post, I’ll be going over some…

Importing KPI data into Trello
Has anyone been successful in getting KPI data into Trello from another source like Google Data Studio? The idea is for the team to see progress of KPIs (e.g. sales metrics) from within the board. Not 100% sure on how it would work, but potentially creating a daily or weekly card that has certain KPI data in the…

Track completion percentage of checklists in a board
I can see it's possible to see the progress percentage of a checklist within a card, but is there a way to report on all checklists within a board? Ideally looking for a free option that will just give me a basic percentage of the number of complete check-items compared to the total number of check-items in the board.

Not getting notified when a check-item is assigned to me
When a card is assigned to me, I get a notification. When a check-item is assigned to me, I don't get notified. Is this expected? If this is expected, what's an alternative way to notify someone when a check-item is assigned to them? I'm looking for a desktop notification, not an email. Thanks!

Receiving way too many unnecessary notifications - how to filter out some of the noise?
Hi all! It would be great to have a way to choose what actions in Trello should trigger a notification. For example, I'd love to only be notified when the following happens: * When a card is assigned to me (aka I'm added as a member) * When someone @mentions me * When a card assigned to me is due soon A lot of the extra…

How to get notified of check-items assigned to you with an upcoming due date?
Hi there! I'm wanting to get reminder notifications of check-items that are assigned to me - so similar to how you would get a notification that a card assigned to you is due soon. I read that it's not an option yet, but thought that someone might have a hack to achieve this? Maybe with butler's reporting function?

Butler check-item action based on a linked card
Hi everyone! I'm needing a bit of Butler help. This is what I'm wanting to achieve: 1. "When an item is added to a checklist, convert the item to a linked card" 2. "When a card moves to the "Done" list, mark the linked check-item as complete" I've created the first statement which looks like this: So far so good. The part…

What responsibilities should the Trello admin/champion have?
I'm wanting to elect someone to have Trello as one of their AORs (area of responsibility). They would need to be a Trello admin, so apart from the general admin privileges (like managing workspaces, members, billing, etc.), what other responsibilities would you recommend they take care of? I'm thinking in the line of…
