@Glenn.Weissel would this power-up do what you want? https://trello.com/power-ups/5b4765f383dd7c75d8e57be4/time-in-list-by-blue-cat There is some cost involved, but it looks like it gives you some great visuals and charts to help with your reporting. If using a paid power-up isn't an option, you could create your own…
-
@Jesse Brownstein would this work for you? You could then add multiple actions to the same automation in order to copy the card to multiple boards.
-
@Andrew Hauptman, welcome to the community! I've just attached a case study from one of my clients that might resonate with you. It's pretty high-level, but it gives you a bit of an idea of how Trello helped them. If you're interested, I'd be happy to share more details and explore how we could do something similar for…

@Ryan J Browne is there any relationship between the "parent" card and the "child" cards nested within the checklist? For example, they share the same label, they're all contained in the same list, etc. It is possible to collect cards and add them to a checklist as linked items using butler automation. You would need some…
-
@KlaudiaCiok you'll struggle to find a free solution to create a true mirror of cards across different boards. You could automatically copy cards and changes made to cards using Butler automation, but it won't be a true 2-way sync of cards. For example, you could: 1. Automatically copy any card added to list "Faulty Sites"…

@Mike you can filter cards on your board by searching for keywords. See below:
-
@Natalie Pierce would ordering by colour work? Just played around and I think I managed to achieve this by doing the following: 1. Create some "proxy" labels in the colours of your choice. Name each label "{*}". 2. Then, create a board button to sort your cards by label using these proxy labels: 3. Then, make sure all of…

@Jatin Dahiya Do you have a paid plan with Trello? You could use their dashboard feature. If you're on the free plan and you want a free solution, you might struggle to find a free power up that will do what you want. Dashcards is a free power up that lets you created filtered lists of cards, but it is reasonably basic.…
-
@Leanne Lam adding on to this - you should be able to set the start date automatically using automation rules without having to click a button. Try something like "when a card is added to the board, set start date now" You could filter this further if you wanted to only apply this to certain cards. e.g. when a card is…
-
@Avi I remember @Mike - Dreamsuite Consulting mentioning that when you set a due date using automation, it defaults the reminder to none. This is apparently by design, but Mike came up with a great solution to get around this using the API. https://api.trello.com/1/cards/{cardid}?key=apikey&token=token payload =…

Hi @Marcos Gonzalez - YouRank , have you tried any integrations yet? Trello offers a power-up that allows you to attach Jira issues to Trello cards: https://trello.com/power-ups/586be36326cc4c7e9f70beb3/jira I believe there is a similar integration in Jira's marketplace for the other direction. If you need a true two-way…

@Clea Cregan I'm a community member just like you; I don't have any say in the design of Trello. You can submit a feature request if you want https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/submitting-feature-requests-for-trello/
-
@Clea Cregan Not natively, no. Trello doesn't offer the ability to reorganise the information on the back of the card, but there may be a chrome extension that can do this.
-
@Jeremy Drey Glad you were able to get that to work by modifying the card title format. Hopefully, that works for you using the due date field instead, but as you can see in my previous post, you can copy that date to a custom field if that's helpful.
-
Hi @Patrick Welsh sorry for the late response! Thanks for adding more context. I'd be happy to offer a free 30 mins. You're welcome to book me via my website: https://www.simplaworkflows.com/ or, if you can't find a time that suits, you can email me hannah@simplaworkflows.com. I'm based in NZ, so our working times are a…

@Freddie Ware Are you looking for guidance on how best to implement Trello into your organization for a successful rollout?
-
@Baxter_s Tree Service Can you give a bit of context around how you're using Trello? What are some of the challenges you're facing and what are your business goals with your Trello use? If you're able to share some more specifics about your workflow and what you want to achieve, we can give you some more targeted guidance.
-
@Karisha Alba If you want a reliable 2-way sync, you would need to use a paid solution. The alternative is to try and achieve it using butler. You could automate some things like copying the card and all its contents, updating the copy when certain things change like the due date or comments are posted. But it won't be a…
-
@Lauren Kramer I can think of a way to achieve this but it's fairly convoluted and involves the use of custom fields and regex, but you could probably find ways to do it without. The first step is to find some way to record the previous list within the card. For example, you could create a custom field called "Previous…

@Barak Hazan Have a look at this guide: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/filtering-for-cards-on-a-board/ See below for an example:
-
@Patrick Welsh I would recommend changing the trigger. When you create a card, obviously these values will be empty, so there is nothing to calculate. Is there typically a cadence in which the fields are populated? For example, let's say "Volprice" is always the last field to be populated and you'd like the calculation to…
-
@Rishabh Negi Ah, I see. I didn't realize it would send separate emails. You may need to use a different automation tool such as Zapier or Make.com
-
Hi @Manu Moya yes, sure thing. You're welcome to book me for a quick call. P.s. I do offer Trello consulting but happy to do a free 30-minute consultation :) You can book me via my website: https://www.simplaworkflows.com/ or email me hannah@simplaworkflows.com. Let me know if you don't see a time that works.

Sorry for the late response! A bit of a different approach...maybe try the below? I couldn't see a simple rule that just says: "when I enter a card name containing a date, set custom date field" If it's helpful, you can add to the rule to clear the date from the card title. Also, you may want to switch it from "when I…
-
@Cristian Urdiales Adding someone to a card means adding them to the whole board. It's not possible to restrict members from accessing specific cards on a board. Depending on your use case, you could either: 1. Use a power up like External Share 2. Create a secondary board for John Smith and sync his cards from the main…
-
@Nívea França if you manually copy the card, all of the card contents (including its description and custom fields/values) should copy over. You can automate this using butler. E.g. When the card moves to the x list, copy the card to the x list on board A When the x label is added to a card, copy the card to the x list on…
-
@Jeremy Drey can you share the rule you've created so far? Is there any sort of consistent pattern around the email content that will allow butler to extract the due date? E.g. the date is always preceded by "DUE:", or the date format is always "dd/mm/yy.
-
Try something like: When an attachment is added to a card, send an email to hannah@simplaworkflows.com with message: "A new attachment has been added. See here: [{attachmentname}]({attachmentlink})."
-
@Rishabh Negi you can change the option from sending to a particular address to sending to all members of the card or board. See below:
