Hello, You can create a filter by using "issueFunction in" function of Script Runner add-on. However as far as I know you can't use it with "assignee" but only with usernames such as: issueFunction in commented("by elifcan") You can specify it by using like this: issueFunction in commented("by elifcan") and assignee =…

Hello, Which versions of Jira and Postgres are you using? It may be because you are using an unsupported version of Postgres. https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver075/supported-platforms-935390828.html Regards, Elifcan

Hello, You need to write a custom script and add it to your workflow as a postfunction. A script like this would work: import com.atlassian.crowd.embedded.api.User; import com.atlassian.jira.bc.issue.IssueService; import com.atlassian.jira.bc.issue.IssueService.CreateValidationResult; import…

Hello, Personally, we never encountered a similar request before. I did a little bit of research but I also cannot find similar scenarios. As I understand from the documents, you can view the deployment status on the release page but you cannot see which environments the released version is deployed to. Maybe you can write…

Hello, You need to add the fields you want to the screen that is used by that workflow transition. See below screenshot: Here my "Done" transition uses a screen named HOP: Project Management Resolve Issue Screen. If I want to see Fix Version, I need to add it to this screen on the Screens page: Regards, Elifcan

Hello, First you need to integrate Jira and Bamboo but I understand from the screenshot you already did that. Did you check out this document? https://confluence.atlassian.com/bamboo/viewing-bamboo-activity-in-jira-applications-399377384.html I could't understand what you mean by release tab. Bitbucket (branch, commit…

Hello @Thomas Schlegel, and thanks for all your efforts to make this place fun :) Also merry christmas to everyone! I wish you all a very happy new year.

Hello, Queues on service desk project are highly configurable. Your project admin can update the JQL query that is used by that queue. They can also add many queues like "Waiting for Approval" or "Approved and Waiting for Support". It's completely up to you how you design the queues. Regards, Elifcan.

Hello, If you mean deleting by cancelling, you need to check your project's permission scheme. If you remove customers from your delete issue permission, it should solve the problem. If it's a transition, you can find the transitions that you share with the customer on the workflow of your project. The ones you share looks…

Hello, There is an open issue about this: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-5052?_ga=2.63249583.1676435629.1544517079-747249076.1541400997 Unfortunately now it's not possible to alter the issue during clone. You can use a workaround like, creating a script listener and somehow catching the issue as cloned (maybe…

Hello, 405 error is "Method Not Allowed". I can't find a method for Cloud to update user's email. Are you sure the method exists? https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v3/#api-api-3-user-get It's possible for Jira Server but I'm not sure you can do it on Cloud. Regards, Elifcan

Hi, I don't think so. Jira's default mail handler is very limited in that sense. If there is no info about it on the document, I assume it cannot be done. Sorry couldn't be more helpful. Regards, Elifcan

Hello, Can you check your default priority on the priority scheme used by that project then? According to the document, you need to put blocker at the top of the line and choose default priority as one that is below blocker. For example below screenshot, I need to put High as default priority if I want to tag the issues…

Hello, I got the same error (Cannot find matching method) but it still worked. I think it's because one of the user groups custom field is empty. If there is such possibility, you should add a check that controls if the user group is empty. Regards, Elifcan

Hello, It seems like the error is "Cannot find matching method" because you are using int for ID. But setSecurityLevelId uses long for id. See below link: https://docs.atlassian.com/software/jira/docs/api/7.1.1/com/atlassian/jira/issue/MutableIssue.html#setSecurityLevelId-java.lang.Long- If you change it to…

Hello, How did you configure creating issues from email? As far as I know, Jira Mail Handler doesn't have the ability to set system or custom fields via email. Are you sure you are not using any additional plugins like Jira Enterprise Mail Handler? Regards, Elifcan

Hello, Did your workflow's create transition has "Fire a Issue Updated event that can be processed by the listeners." instead of "Fire a Issue Created event that can be processed by the listeners."? Create transition by default fires Issue Created event but could somebody have changed it? Regards, Elifcan

Hello, As I understand, you have two different projects; one for Jira issues and one for Service Desk, am I correct? If so, you can easily move the issue to the service desk project. You need to have "Move Issues" permission on the Jira project and "Create Issues" permission on the Service Desk project. After that I…

Hello, You need to have the "Move Issues" permission on that project's permission scheme. Regards, Elifcan

Hello, For this purpose, you need an add-on. For example with Jira Suite Utilities add-on's Copy Value From Other Field (JSU), you can copy three fields' values to another field and use append while doing it. Or you can use Script Runner to write a custom script to add all these custom fields' values to another. However I…

Hello, Have you tried "Hide transition from user" condition? Hide transition from user: Condition to hide a transition from the user. The transition can only be triggered from a workflow function. I think this should work for your case. Regards. Elifcan

Hello, I'm glad it helped :) Regards, Elifcan

Hello, For the first question I think you need to write a custom script that uses change history manager. If you get the previous assignee and compare it to the current assignee, it should work from unassigned to assigned and vice versa.…
-
Hi, yes I think that's how it works. Even if it's not, then it should be a bug since it's on the create screen and you can't add it to the portal. So raising a ticket may be the best option here. Regards, Elifcan
-
Hello, I assume you are using script runner for this purpose. When you configure a Send a custom email script listener, you don't need to add it to your transitions. Script listener, as the name suggests, listens to the events that you define and runs when that event occurred. What you are referring I presume is adding the…

Hello, I think this is because Organizations field is not something a customer can select. A customer is a member of an organization that is created by the agent. If a customer wants to share the request, they can share it after the request is created with Share button. Also check out the ticket opened for showing…
