Hello, As far as I know, this is not an option right now unfortunately. You can add a field when customer is creating the ticket as you said but you can't add a view only field. But I found a jira ticket related to this. You can upvote this here: This is for cloud:…

Hi, happy to help :)

Hi, glad it helped :)

Glad to help, sometimes a second set of eyes is all you need :)

Hello, Are you sure that Accept CR custom field is filled on that specific issue that you test? Because when I test your code, it works just fine and returns the values. If Accept CR customfield is empty on the issue, it returns null as expected. So your code seems to be correct. Regards,

Hey, Here is a link about how you can use properties on statuses: https://www.j-tricks.com/tutorials/permissions-based-on-workflow-status Regards.
-
Hey, Actually properties can be added to statuses also. I don't know exact property keys but you can try it out according to the link I shared. Yes, listeners listen for events, for example, in this situation it will look for issue updated event and your script will check if the assignee is changed to unassigned and change…

Hello, You can use the automation feature of Service Desk, if it's a service desk project as you tagged. Regards,
-
Hello, I can think of three different solutions. * It is not a direct solution but you can use Allow unassigned issues property of Jira. But if you disallow, it will be global. So it might not be the best approach. * Also another option might be workflow properties. You can add a property to that specific status that block…

Hi, Actually there is no more "JIRA" as before. Before Jira Core & Jira Software, JIRA meant JIRA Core and JIRA + JIRA Agile meant JIRA Software. Right now there is no definition for JIRA per se. But when Jira Software is installed, there is a blue JIRA written on the page as you said. You can say that now JIRA is a…
-
Hello, Jira Core and Jira Software are not the same. Jira Core is more like for business teams and offers less and simple solutions whereas Jira Software offers more agile related solutions. Check out this link: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confeval/jira-software-evaluator-resources/jira-software-which-jira-do-i-need…

Hello, You can use issueFunction in subtasksOf. I guess something like below would offer you what you need: issueFunction in subtasksOf("issuetype = Task AND resolution is EMPTY ") and resolution is not EMPTY Regards,

Hello, As far as I know, you can do this by writing a javascript code and adding it to the description of the field on field configuration page. You don't need scriptrunner for this. You can also make the field required on the transition's validator if you have Jira Suite Utilities plugin. Or you can write a custom script…

Hello, You tried 'send test email' on the outgoing mail settings, right? When you edit the outgoing mail and click on test connection, what is the response? Because if you don't get any kind of notification, not just the service desk project, it might be related to outgoing mail settings. You can also check out…
-
Hello, As far as I know, Jira does not offer such a feature by default. However you can design a workflow transition for this purpose. * First remove reporter from Comment configuration of your project's notification scheme. * Add a transition to your workflow such as "Non-technical comment". * Add a custom event and add…

Hello, You can configure your customer notification settings on the project settings page as you can see on the screenshot: You can configure them with different options like request created, public comment added, etc. and also add custom notifications as well. Also if you enable email requests, your customers can open…

Hello, Check out this link: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Core-questions/Exception-Errors-in-JIRA-7-3-7-after-upgrade-with-Create-Issue/qaq-p/606843 It seems like exactly your problem. If you are using SQL Server 2008 or 2008R2 too, it is no longer supported.…

Hello, You can configure different screens for create, edit and view. All you need to do is create three (or two different screens according to your need), add customfields you like and associate these screens to create, edit and view on your screen scheme. Check out the screenshot below: Regards,

Glad it's solved :)

Hello, You may be a site administrator but if you don't have permission to access the project, you still cannot see it. You can go to permission schemes, find the one that project is using and check out the permissions. You may not have browse project permission. If you give yourself browse project permission you should be…

Hello, Have you tried adding Jira's IP address to the remote address' section of your Crowd. Like this: Also check out this document, it gives the solution of your error: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/connecting-jira-to-crowd-throwing-applicationpermissionexception-301662474.html Regards,

That's very strange, I can't think of anything else. Maybe you can try to open a support ticket and Atlassian will be able to help you, I'm sure. Sorry I couldn't be much help.

Also in the share content component are all the modules enabled? Could share issue be disabled only?
-
Hi, we have 7.7 but I don't think that would make a big difference. One more thing I can think of, do you have browse users (global) permission? That may also be the reason if you don't.
-
Hello There is a button like you said next to export: If you don't have that button maybe sharing component is disabled. Check system plugins on manage add-ons section and find Share content component and check if it's disabled. Regards,

Hello, For Jira Cloud, you can not configure outgoing mail settings. You can just enable or disable it. By default it should be enabled. Do you have problems getting notification mails? If you do, it may be related to the notification scheme. Check out this document:…

Sorry, something went wrong and my answer is posted twice :)

Hello, After you set customfield value, you need to update the issue as well. Could you try this after you set the field values: updateIssue(ApplicationUser user, MutableIssue issue, EventDispatchOption eventDispatchOption, boolean sendMail) This method will store the provided issue to the JIRA datastore. For example:…

Hello The document you added is for Jira Cloud. I understand that you use Jira server. Check server's documents: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver/configuring-a-board-938845252.html It says: "You must be a Jira administrator or a board administrator for the board to modify its configuration." Regards.
