Add the The table grid editor as an additional option. Francis

Just to chime in on the suggestion from Matthias to use Backbone for synchronization. Exalate provides on top of a robust synchronisation engine a scripting engine which provides the flexibility to implement any use case you might have in mind Francis
-
You might have a look at versions and component sync https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/net.collabsoft.plugins.jira.jira-version-sync/server/overview I never used myself, so curious about your findings

There are a couple of synchronisation solutions available - check following link https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?query=issue+sync Next to Backbone, Exalate is a synchronisation solution which provides flexibility and autonomy including cloud to cloud integrations. Francis PS. I'm part of the team working on…

Yes - we did a POC where one master JIRA was connected to multiple team jira's using Exalate . Features, created on the master are broken down into epics, and escalated towards the different team jira's. These exalated issues are broken down into stories and prioritized. The status of the epic being reported back to the…

Caio, If you're on cloud, you can have a look at Exalate which is an alternative issue sync app, available for server to server, cloud to cloud and any other combination. Br, Francis

Have a look at the table grid editor, which allows to connect to multiple external databases. The multi level cascading field allows you to set-up almost any type of dynamic drop down. Francis PS. I'm part of the team delivering this app

The same applies for exalate. You could even have status changes on one side be translated to comments on the other side. The built-in scripting engine allows for the flexibility that any synchronisation solution requires. Francis (Obviously I'm part of the team building exalate :-) )
-
We are in the final stage of creating such capability as part of Exalate (a solution to synchronise issues between different issuetrackers) Send a mail to support at exalate dot com with some contact details if you would like to participate in a beta program Francis
-
Do you mean github as code repository or github as issuetracker ?
-
<shameless plug> An alternative is Exalate - issue sync for JIRA and Cloud. Exalate provides flexibility through groovy scripts allowing for fine grained implementations of almost any business case. To ensure that only comments containing the @xyz_customer mentions are synchronized towards the other side, you would specify…

Hi Dominique, (I'm from iDalko - the company behind the table grid editor) One of the approaches to meet the excel requirement is by providing your users a odbc connection (using a read only user) directly to the database. Views can simplify the life of the users. Another approach is by using the pivot table gadget which…

Hi Dante, First of all - the gd.* properties will affect the UI behaviour of the grid and not the REST behaviour. The fact that you're user cannot update the grid through REST but can through the UI can be rooted in either a bug in the add-on or a configuration problem Can you enable debug logging on the grid as detailed…
-
Thanks @Maarten Cautreels (Belgium) Dante, The TGE Api requires a user to read/edit grid data as it checks if the required permissions (edit for modifying the grid and browse for reading it) are set. There is no need to have administration permisisons. Could you check ? If the grid is not behaving as expected, please raise…

Hi Cathy, What exactly do you expect from linking the accounts ? Is it related to licensing and/or about sharing information between multiple instances ? Francis

As Matthias is saying, there are multiple solutions for synchronisations, each with there own advantages and disadvantages. We are building Exalate - issue sync for JIRA and Cloud - which allows to implement the most complex synchronisation cases (through scripting) Francis
-
I reopened the mutual eazyBi / TGE issue to further track this request. It ended up somewhere in the twilight zone. Thanks for reminding.

Cool to hear (we are behind the table grid editor add-on) Note that we'll be introducing the table grid editor for JIRA cloud. The beta version is ready. If interested - send a mail to support.tge@idalko.com Francis

There are a couple of synchronisation solutions on the market. We are behind exalate - an issue synchronisation solution available for all editions of JIRA, HP QC and more to come We can always setup a demo to discuss details at https://exalate-demo.youcanbook.me Francis

These are the standard notification mails which contain an unsubscribe link. Check screenshot in the description Tried it multiple times Francis

(Thanks Maarten for the ping) Bonjour Stephane, There is no limit in the number of rows that can be associated to an issue - the table grid editor (and reader) provide pagination and filtering. If you would like to check your use case in more detail, just send a mail to support dot tge at idalko dot com and we can provide…

Hi Bob, That's interesting - do you have an example of such setup ? Francis
-
Capture would be ideal but it has no screen recorder capability.

Hi Nicolas, Do you have more detail on what you want to manage in this inventory. Some of the table grid editor customers are using the add-on exactly for asset management, tracking inventory changes with 'transaction issues', If you want, I can show you how it works. Francis
-
Atlassian support confirmed that this is yet not supported. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/FE-3897
-
Checkout http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/GH/Configuring+your+Task+Board+Settings You can add a column 'In QA' which lists all issues which are in the QA stage. Francis

Hi Jobin Thanks for the suggestion - I will have a look. Unsure if this meets the requirements, but I will flag it as an answer. F.
-
yes (only synching two projects) I even need to be able to have one jira target another jira, and that second jira target a third one Links can be uni and bi directional / in the case of a bidirectional link, modifications on one should be synched to the second and the way back ...

Same here, will file a support issue
