Glad i could help!

Aha, now i get it, unfortunatly as far as i know there is no out of the box way to do this. Please check out this thread: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Questions/How-to-write-a-query-based-on-value-in-Issue-s-parent-s-fields/qaq-p/46326

Then you have 2 options, create the groups in AD or in confluence/jira (i would prefer AD). Then you have to link AD to confluence and jira, to make sure you see the users and groups from AD. Then you just need to switch the order so that AD gets higher priority in the directory list. I suggest to test this in either a…

Do you have a default reporter set for when the issue is created by mail? if so, you can use that to filter on.
-
Then you need to add them to the view screen. You can always use the "where's my field" option under admin section in an issue. Then you can see where you need to add something to get it working. https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/jira-admin-helper-802593078.html
-
And you only want the subtasks without a fixversion but linked to the parent? Or what exacly do you want?
-
I would suggest asking it to your confluence administrator, if the footer does not display the version.
-
Patrick, The request type is set with automation rules, because you can have multiple request types linked to 1 issue type. Therefore the linking of a request type based on the creation of an issue needs to be automated. For the organization part you need scriptrunner:…

Does this answer your question? https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/issue-types-844500742.html

What do you want to alter to the default fields? Question is not clear to me. Do you want to update the value of a field or the name or something else?
-
Philippe, Do you receive the email from the customer system in the inbox linked to the project? Maybe its not a jira issue but a mailing issue, maybe it is not received or marked as spam or something?
-
Does this works? "where fixVersion is empty"
-
Philippe, Am i correct that mailing from personal mail works, and only customer email is not working to the project email address? Important then: -is your personal mail address linked to a customer user? -is your customer mail address linked to a customer user?
-
i think you will need to write a powershell/bash/perl/... script to process the requests. Thats why i believe automation is the way to go.
-
not sure but I think you need to escape the quotes for project and summary

Some documentation to change it on the server side: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/changing-server-id-for-test-installations-285839562.html

If you use cloud and <300 rule executions you can use the free version of automation: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.codebarrel.addons.automation.lite/cloud/overview

Dragan, Scripting (hour cost) is also quite expensive :-) So unless you got a high user count, i think it will still be the cheapest option. But in case you still want rest api is suggest you to check out the first link. Content:{ "fields": { "project": { "key": "TEST" }, "parent": { "key": "TEST-1" }, "summary": "Sub-task…

Dragan, This is the one you need: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.codebarrel.addons.automation/cloud/overview

Dragan, Then i think this is what you need: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Answers-Developer-Questions/How-to-Create-Subtask-using-Rest-API/qaq-p/508166 The code to create a subtask. But you will need to find a way to call the script to create the subtask based on the subject. Thats why i think automation is better,…
-
First of all, i do not recommend setting default values for the purpose of "consider some predefined questions". But that of course does not solve your question :-) Unfortunately you cannot set a default value for description. You can create a custom field to replace description and than set a default value for this.…

I would advise to use the automation plugin to do this, instead of rest api.

i use both jira software as servicedesk so can't reproduce it for just servicedesk, but here you have some more info: https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedeskcloud/searching-for-issues-780868069.html how i filter is with jql and then just: resolution = Unresolved and project = projectA or project = projectB
-
can't you just filter with fixversion != (your parent story fix version) and type = subtask i don't think you can automatically fill in your parent story fix version
-
you can do this with the automation plugin: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.codebarrel.addons.automation/cloud/overview There you can map an action to the creation of a new version
-
you can add your team to the project watcher role in project settings - users and roles
-
Hi, You can create a filter like this: (summary ~ currentUser() OR description ~ currentUser() OR comment ~ currentUser()) and updatedDate >= -7d and then show that filter with the filter gadget on your dashboard. Hope this helps.
-
Do you only have a servicedesk license or also a software license? If you have a software license you can create custom filters over multiple projects. I don't think you can do cross project queues with just jira SD.

Hi, maybe this thread will help you further? https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Automatic-due-date-by-issue-type-when-creating-ticket/qaq-p/394886 I think you need to find a way to read de sla and add it up to the creation time of the ticket. so something like "duedate": "createddate" + "Time to resolution"
