@ondotengineering At this point no custom SSL is possible as it works on an Atlassian URL. Once custom domains are possible, i would expect that you need to use your own SSL certs as you own the domain then.
-
I would suggest you create a support ticket for automation. I tested it on my server instance and it should work. In the first two screenshots you were at project level automation which makes sense that it does not work, but in the last screenshot you are clearly in system settings so you should be able to find the…
-
@ondotengineering Atlassian Cloud is protected by Atlassian’s SSL Certificates, no need to install custom certs. Regards, Laurens

@Maggie Rivard Strange behaviour indeed. Does your user have a Jira Software license? If not, could you assign one to see if that helps? Other thing you can try is to add you as an admin on that software project as well.

@Danielle David I fully understand what you want to reach, as we sometimes have customers with the same requirements. Out of the box this is not possible. Non JSM users can access data in fields, but can’t access the full assets interface. How we try to solve these things is to extract data to powerbi and visualise it…

As @Jack Brickey mentioned, this is not possible. However you can group customer request types in portal groups. If you organise your portal groups as the different portals, then you might be able to reach your goal. Kind regards, Laurens
-
Hi @Gustavo Cardoso Ferreira , This is not possible out of the box. You can use the extension app from Diviniti to accomplish this. Another way how we solve this is with an automation rule that does a comment of the SLA Goal on the ticket. This is ofcourse the goal and not a real time counter. Kind regards, Laurens

Hi @Maggie Rivard and thanks for contacting the Atlassian Community. Can you check under rule details that you have made a multi project rule? You can choose to make a global, multi project or single project rule. If you want to do cross project automations, both projects need to be listed in the rule details. Regards,…

It was a pleasure meeting you @Jimmy Seddon

@Winston always willing to help! Project type is quite easy: Need a customer portal - Go for JSM Need boards, sprints, development tools - Go for JSW All others should fit under JWM (there you have a kanban board, timeline view, list view) We used to create our business projects under JSW because we wanted to use kanban…

Aha, Finally had time to join this group! * How long have you been using Jira products?* 13 years already... time flies when you are having fun * What influenced you to try Jira Work Management?* Finally a combination of boards, lists, calendar and roadmap... count me in! * What do you find most intriguing about JWM?* I…

Hi Roja, You might want to use blueprint or templates instead, but regardless of that, if they use the confluence link macro it should just keep on working. But this also depends on how they copy it over. Using templates seems the better option here instead of copying over the pages. Hope this helps, Laurens

Hi Ramesh, 1) is stated in the documentation: We recommend using our Quick Start or Cloud Formation Template to deploy Confluence Data Center in AWS, as it will automatically provision, configure and connect everything you need. If you do decide to do your own custom deployment, you can provide the following information to…

Hi Luis, As far as i know, atlassian access is only billed for users with a product license. So that would mean that even though they are in a billable policy, only the JSM and JSW users are billed. Here is stated that customer portal users are non…

@Michael Johnson It might be a long shot, but maybe you can have them add multiple values in a text field or table grid and then create multiple issues from those values? The create another or clone issue would be better suited but since it doesn't exist i would try to solve it like that.
-
@Nic Brough -Adaptavist-I think when its option 2 the error is different and it says that there is an existing lock file, so i think your option 1 is the correct one.
-
Yeah, but those people have different names, and might have different roles. Say thay have the same role, than you only have to enter the role multiple times, thats only 1 select box. Cloning the issues and changing the names gives you more work. But thats just my point of view
-
Brant, How i would typically do this is: Create a select list with roles Run an automation rule based on role that creates the ticked needed for that role (laptop, AD account, ...) that way you only need to enter the details of that user, which is different for each one, and then select the role. Additionally you can add a…

Hi Prabhu, As @Jack Brickey said, this is not possible out of the box. There is a marketplace app that provides this functionality: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1215285/user-management-for-jira?hosting=datacenter&tab=overview Alternative you can check if it might be an option to use roles and give the user…

@Alex Koxaras -Relational- Great remark, i am hoping that the fact that he wants to go from completed to archived, he is setting the resolution on the completed state. If not, than switching to update date could be an option, but obviously not a fail safe option.
-
Hi Michael, I know it might not be the answer you are looking for, but i want to look at it from a more functional point. Why do people need to add more than 1 of the same or almost the same request, and how can we improve this process? There might be other paths to achieve this like adding custom fields that trigger…
-
Hi Andre and welcome to the community, You can do calculations with jql on for example updated date or resolution date. If you want to move them to archived after they are resolved for 2 days i would do something like this: resolved <= -2d and status = done you can run this jql on a time based cycle (cron job) within your…

Hi, You can take a look at this community post: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Send-Jira-log-to-a-remote-syslog-server-Graylog/qaq-p/636256 Its not really out of the box possible as you can see in this issue: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-22508 But there are ways to have as syslog deamon to…

Hey OliviaR and welcome to the community, Like Jack mentioned you have the ability to bundle release tracks with 2 week intervals You can find some more info here: https://support.atlassian.com/organization-administration/docs/manage-product-release-tracks/ Also to see what changes are pushed to cloud you can find some…

Hi Ronny, As @Dave Bosman _Inetum_ mentioned, you can check the answer of Nic in the above link. If you don't want to stop the services, i would suggest to just cleanup the logfiles that contain a date stamp, those can be removed without impact. The one without a timestamp can't be removed while the services are running.…
-
Hi Andy, As Mohamed mentioned, its not possible to disable it based on fields. However, you could limit the people that get update notifications, so not everyone gets notified of ticket updates. Sometimes its important that people get updates for status update and comments, but not for update events (field updates). So you…

Hi Tim, I would suggest you open a support ticket with atlassian, they might be able to help you further on how to get your current instance to a valid state so you can migrate. Regards, Laurens
-
Yes, JWM will also appear as a seperate product.
-
Hi, The plan you have is mostly the same as what i would do, the only difference is that i also copy over the install directory, because of setenv.sh, server.xml, ... But the plan you have looks like the correct approach to me. Hope this helps, Laurens

Hi Stephan, As far as i know there isn't a clear roadmap. But you can find some info here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/what-are-the-differences-between-insight-in-cloud-and-server/ Regards, Laurens
