Heya @Prasad Garikipati - I just finished a series of training sessions for the ACP-520. Feel free to catch the recordings here
-
Happy to share I just passed this last week! I've also got some live study sessions starting next week if folks want to join in - check out the first one here - https://ace.atlassian.com/events/details/atlassian-community-led-classes-presents-confluence-wide-permissions-acp-220-confluence-cloud-admin-session-1/ @Antti…

Some folks have called it out but my favorite is to write out my notes and whatever I'm studying. This helps get it into my brain and (seems to) make it easier to remember later.
-
Looking forward to seeing you there @Anwesha Pan ! Also feel free to post any questions or reach out for help!
-
@Anwesha Pan - No worries! they're all recorded in the links above so you can check them out any time!

Hey Ricardo, Congrats on making the decision to earn the ACA-905! (For me the hardest part can be just deciding to go do it). I've actually got a live study group that is ongoing for the ACA-905.. we've had a few sessions already, but there's still two to go. I'd love for you to join in the remaining sessions (6 AM PST on…

Hey all - I do want to point out it's REALLY easy to miss the "save" button on the filter. This is different than the Save button on the macro. In the screenshots below the one with the grey background is the filters save.. the one next to the cancel button is the macro's save. (you may need to scroll down in the filter…

haha - that is fair @Rebekka Heilmann _viadee_ ! Will update... Video below on the new Space Permissions Roles (which I am more than excited about...)

Just ran a test and I can't replicate your results :( I recorded the loom directly in Confluence, then went into Loom and deleted it. The frame still exists on the page, however, a creepy 404 error appears instead of the video. Tested on Loom/Confluence free tier: * Make a page * click the loom icon in bottom right *…

Hey all - I'll be doing live study sessions for ACA-915 starting on May 23rd - sign up for the first one here - https://ace.atlassian.com/events/details/atlassian-community-led-classes-presents-cloud-subscription-amp-user-management-aca-915-atlassian-cloud-foundations-1/

I'm excited to offer this series and really looking forward to what folks think of it! Definitely worth dropping in, and bring your questions about how you can use Confluence to help your marketing efforts.
-
Absolutely love this @Jimmy Seddon
-
Heya! I just did a live learning on home pages if you're curious.. here's a link to the follow up article that includes a link.
-
@Susan Waldrip - nope, totally oblivious! My go-to is the "meeting notes" template... spin one up every time I go into a meeting (and frequently forget to title them.. or publish them :D ).
-
ahh Karl - I'm sorry! I changed the dates from Tuesday to Monday which may have broken it :( Going forward we'll be meeting Mondays, 6AM PST to 7AM PST - Bevy and Youtube are updated and recordings will be available here

Here's an example of a (very) simple process - this is one of the main usecases I happen to have for Whiteboards (before this I'd use Vizio or Lucidchart). I try to standardize what the shapes mean (e.g. circle is the start, diamonds are decisions, etc). I also use them quite a bit for system mapping (incomplete as it's…
-
Heya @SH - Curious you can provide more information, for example how do you know what a test case is? (e.g. is it an issue type?). Also assuming you're using something like Xray Test management as an addon?
-
I tend to find myself leaving any half-baked ideas on the board instead of removing them... the board is effectively infinite (although I'd be real curious to test that), so there's no reason to delete "bad" ideas. I've found this helpful in looking back at how our thinking has changed, and for remember what we actually…
-
Heya @Vanagundhi.Praveen - without more specifics it could be challenging to find a good solution, but some ideas: 1. Use "Page properties" - insert a Page Properties macros for each project page ( or top level) and include a row for each piece of info (e.g. owner, dependencies, etc). Have a single page with a Page…
-
Hey @Prem - curious if you have an example? I can't tell from this question if you want to import data as a whiteboard, add a Confluence Database or something else.
-
Hey @Brant Schroeder - I've been using them quite a bit for system mapping - e.g. showing how different modules connect, what integrations there are, etc. I find this a good use case as the whiteboard can exist directly alongside other information about the system keeping it in context.
-
@Karine VANEL - I love that you're hosting support sessions... many times I find tools like this (or any other tool) are just flipped on and folks are expected to figure it out... some do, but many suffer. Do you get good attendance/results from them?
-
@Adam Wicks you should be able to disable Whiteboards (or Databases) at the space level... unfortunately there isn't an option (that I can find) to disable at the Instance level :/ (although I wonder if a support ticket could do that?)
-
Adam - that does sound frustrating (at best). I would have hoped it would atleast make it easy to tell which whiteboards are 'active' :/ Curious if you rely on users to avoid it, or actively disabled Whiteboards?
-
Hey Ashlea - for context I'm on Premium, so I don't run into the limits mentioned in the thread. I've found it useful for a few purposes : * System diagrams * Process mapping * Organizing my own thoughts The biggest win for me is that they're in the hierarchy with other related information. Prior to this I was stuck…

Hey Tim - would be curious to learn more about the issue you're facing. It is possible to create a table-like view using the various shapes (or pull in links to Jira tickets as cards). It's not a table like we are on a Page but can visually approximate it. (There may even be a template with something similar?)
-
@Oussama Khouri - based on your screenshot I'm betting there's a hard coded limit to the display length (e.g. it's cutting off at the same length for the longer ones). May be worth adding a feature or bug request to change the length to be elastic and fit the window (v.s. an artificial cap)
-
@Jessica Brasington - @Shikha Verma nailed it - you can create content and attach files. You can also label individual attachments to help organize them. You may also want to consider other requirements beyond 'put document on page', e.g. there's no native ability to check documents in/out.
-
Heya @Jessica Brasington - would be curious to hear more about what you need to do. For example, Confluence can store documents as attachments and provide versioning/history of information, which could be a 'document repository'.
-
@Tami Dubi - Love the idea for the feature! While not a solve, I would be curious if you've explored automations - sounds like the "...removes manually once the end date has passed..." could be a candidate? Another possible solve could be to use Jira tickets? e.g. have a filter that only shows open issues that don't have…
