It sounds like the core challenge is something like 'we have definitions and want to control updates and changes to them' If that's the case I'm curious what other solutions you've tried besides a database? I could see a series of pages with page properties serving a similar function, but curious why you settled on a…

To build on Varuns response - Highly recommend you connect with your IT team about this. If it worked before and stopped it's possible your access changed, or that you're logging in via a separate email. Hope your team can assist!

Including white there's 21 options, I'd be curious the use case for more colors? Certainly understand a desire for more control/etc, but practically I've never needed more than 3-4. In many cases I also prefer limited options... My focus in Confluence is sharing info, and I personally find a large number of colors, bullet…

Would love to hear how it works out! Also curious if y'all should change your personal spare policy? Enabling for everyone can be an 'easy fix' but results in the fun you're having. Might want to look into having people request one and then adding to a group?

Heya @Nathan Unsworth - to expand on @Brant Schroeder 's comment I'd be curious what other filters happen to be in place (click "more options")? Also curious if you've tried other testing? e.g. 1. Copy/paste the macro into a new space 2. Try a different label

Heya @Vladislav Tsaregorodtsev - one thing to consider about Atlassian exams is that they're written at a specific point in time. This means that the instance you're using today will likely have differences when compared to when the exam was written. Generally these are small, but please keep in mind bigger changes can…

More where this came from @Dr Valeri Colon _Connect Centric_ !

Heya @John Lucero , @Ollie Guan nailed it. The company hub is treated like other content and requires a license to view. Personally this makes sense given it's intended to be used for people at a company to find information / serve as a hub for internal documentation. Curious your use case for external access? Asking as…

@monica_ros_artbridgesfoundation_org - +1 to Trudy's comment (always good to include info like that!). Also curious which specific link you're sending? Sometimes folks send an edit or internal link instead of the public one.

Oh no! There's a number of possible things they could have done. What specific error are y'all seeing? Without more info - 1 - deleted a group that provides licensing - this would remove everyone from licensed users 2 - removed access to ALL spaces/content 3 - archived/deleted all/most content Curious if there's more info…

Heya! Sorry to hear you're running into issues. That message typically means that there's a permission setup blocking you from reading it. If that's intended to be a public resource it means the owner has changed their access. Only way to resolve would be for the admins to change the permissions back :/ I'm not too…

You're welcome!

Glad you got it sorted! Live docs look like pages but are not pages... Usually not too big of an issue, but as you've discovered it may break things! It is easy to convert a live doc to a page (more actions->convert), so hopefully it wasnt too hard to adjust!

Welcome to the community! Would definitely recommend exploring the forums and different groups. There's loads of great info, and regular updates, in there. Atlassian learning is also a great resource to learn how everything works (top of the community next to forums). Also feel free to ask questions, loads of great people…

Heya @wammo studio - appreciate the rigor you put into this evaluation. It sounds like your experience with various systems has made disaster recovery an important aspect of what you're looking for. (I"m sorry to hear you've had so much challenges!). Based only on this it sounds like you discovered/found some type of error…

Glad you enjoyed it @Susan Waldrip !

Heya @A412710 - Once a space is deleted (moved to the Trash) then Purged (permanently deleted) it's gone. Purging can be done manually by a Confluence Admin, or is performed automatically 60 days post deletion. Confluence does display a number of scary-looking reminders about this when you delete a space: And again when a…
-
@Evan Malburg - that is a great question... and I agree with @Marc -Devoteam- - it's on a rolling deployment. Definitely worth asking your Org Admin (typically someone in IT) to go look in the Admin Panel under Release Tracks (path in Marc's post) to see what's going on with your instance. I've been tinkering with it in a…

Unless you're a named contact Atlassian Support may not be able to help :( Best bet is to ask around internally for whoever owns Jira/Confluence/Atlassian. You might try searching for terms like "migration", "data center", "conversion", "upgrade", etc. as keywords that could help you find the right team(s).
-
interesting @Randino - I can't replicate that on the forums (Mac OS with Chrome). I'd be curious about @Tansu Akdeniz 's question, also what other modifications you may have? e.g. if I CMD+Click on a link that opens in a new tab... What I see when I right click on a link:
-
10000% agree... this drastically improves the usefulness of folders!
-
@Edwin Uy I feel like @Kris Klima _K15t_ 's use of tables is the best bet visually... Also a bit curious on the use case. I use tasks as a lightweight way to remind myself (or my team) of something. If it's anything longer than a line or two, I tend to use a jira work item or something a bit more robust. Also, you can…
-
@Harald Stoll - Based on the documentation it should only appear in the Description field... possible to confirm if that's where you're looking? Also, it will show up as a "/" command (I've got one called "test" in this example). @Marc -Devoteam- it does look like you can use them in Jira (bottom of the page you linked),…

If an "external user" is a non-licensed customer, then I'm unaware of any way to provide a targeted announcement to subsets of customers within the same space (although you could have one CSM space per customer?). Afaik CSM currently allows for a customer site for each space - but that one site is visible to anyone going…

Curious why the search bar along the top wouldn't do the trick? Folks would have to adjust filters slightly, but they wouldn't have to leave confluence. Also curious the use case - eg if folks are looking into a vendor and tasks, why aren't they in Jira? Or rather, why does their journey begin on the confluence side?
-
+1 to @Marc -Devoteam- . Would be very curious what else works (or doesn't) on your same computer and connection. Do others at your organization report the same issue?
-
I'm unaware of any query that runs again labels. Queries in Confluence and Jira run against Content and Work Items, so you can't, say, ask Jira to find labels that aren't being used. There are marketplace apps that can help you find labels that aren't being used on the Confluence side (Label Manager from EasyApp comes to…
-
ohh, thanks for the info! Appreciate this feature... very challenging to make tables visually appealing, and anything that helps streamline that is appreciated!
-
Hey @Anna Wilson - This is a tough one! Typically I find Confluence is near/at the bottom of priority lists... this makes it hard to maintain, despite many people saying it's important and/or relying on it. Some practical things I've used in the past: * Invest in a "showcase" space - Built out a particular space to be as…

Heya @Aaron Lawrence - I'm unaware of any way to remove those options :/ Even disabling Rovo at the App level doesn't take the icon away - it's still there, it just pops up a "talk to your admin" message...
