Hi @Aslan Brooke Currently, we don't have a way to do that but we do have a popular feature request for it which you can follow and upvote here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/OPSGENIE-28

Hi @brandon sim , There is no countdown feature in Opsgenie that will look at specified dates, you can only delay notifications based on static time delays via escalations, team-based policies, and notification rules. Depending on the integration you are using, you may be able to trigger the initial alert creation based on…

Ahh good to know!
-
Hi @Jamie Remboldt (x. 6607) , Unfortunately, the only field that can be altered by the caller after the alert is created (which happens as soon as the call reached Opsgenie) is the 'Responders' field. That field can be updated after the alert is created, based on the caller's selection.
-
Hi @Bill Sklar , Can you tell me which integration this is for? I think a couple of screenshots of the issue could also be helpful.
-
Hi @Lohitha Choudhary - EXT , If you are on a JSM-Opsgenie plan, your Opsgenie users and JSM users are one and the same, meaning you cannot limit them only in Opsgenie. However, if you are on an Opsgenie standalone plan you can change user licenses for Opsgenie only from within Opsgenie. If you have a 'Subscription' option…
-
Hi @Joshua Horton One option that may be helpful to you, is the "no-one" override, which will allow you to override any user that may be out for sick leave, vacation, etc. and the final calendar will show that the shift is not being covered (will show up as 'no-one' in the calendar), and needs to be overridden with an…

Hi @Erica Dohring Incident rules are only processed at alert creation, but not again when changes are made to alerts, so a team's incident rule would not trigger if that team was added manually after the alert was created. In that situation, the user would need to create an incident from the alert and add the correct team…
-
Hi @Samuel Mosher , I would recommend submitting a support ticket so we can review your configuration. There are simply too many variables to say why you are not getting the notifications without looking at the account. If you are still in the trial period you should also have access to in-app chat on the Free plan.
-
Hi @bruna.ziviani , There is no straightforward way to do that but you can use the List teams API to pull a list of teams and then use the list services API to pull a list of all services (which will list the associated teams) and then write a script to pair all teams with their corresponding services.
-
Hi @Nat Welch , Currently, new Slack channels can only be created manually but from an incident, but we do have a feature request to automate this function, which you can watch and upvote here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/OPSGENIE-57
-
Hi @Samuel Mosher , If you are on the Free or Essentials plans, integrations can only be added on the team level, but not the global level. When integrations are team-based, the 'Responders' field is not present, as all alerts will be assigned to the team that the integration is assigned to. Likewise, If you are on…

Thanks for posting the detailed solution, @Nathan Ell ! This is very helpful for other community members who may have a similar question.
-
Hi @L, Priyanka , There are different types of admin roles so it could still be an access issue - for our support team to check it out, please open a new chat window from within Opsgenie, where we will be able to access your instance and tell you what's going on. Thanks!
-
If you need to add an on-call user to the alert after it has been created, you can query the on-call user for any team by using: /genie whoisoncall [team name]_schedule which will give you the on-call user for that team. Then run: /genie assign [tiny ID] to [username] The username will be the email of the user.
-
Hi @Adi Kuperman , You can add multiple teams with the / commands from Slack. Here is an example: /genie alert Hello for support team, Testing_Team
-
Hi @L, Priyanka The delete button being disabled means that you don't have access rights to delete alerts. It sounds like there may be some restrictions on creating alerts as well. I would suggest reaching out to an account admin to adjust your user rights.
-
@Adi Kuperman , If fields have been made required in Jira, they should show up on the Opsgenie side if they are correctly configured in Jira. In this example, I made a few fields required, including a custom field (test number field) which shows up in Opsgenie: If this is not happening, I would recommend reaching out to…
-
Hi @Eric Hayes You should be able to remove a relationship by hovering over the related service and clicking the "X":
-
Hi @Santhosh S , This error is indicating that your organization has placed login restrictions that must be met to successfully log in to Opsgenie. You would need to reach out to your organization's admin for help logging in, as they would be the only party with access to help you here.
-
Hi @Rick , Unfortunately, it looks like there is no way to customize the notification played by the iOS 'critical alerts' feature at this time.
-
It looks like there is no way to define the priority on alert creation, but you can update it after the alert it created: The other option would be to a global policy for each priority that filters for Slack alerts with P1 in the message and assigns a priority of P1:
-
Hi @Adi Kuperman , I would recommend using a Jira integration to automatically create Jira issues from P1 alerts: New slack channels can't be created automatically, though we do have a feature request for that. However, if you create an incident from the alert: you can then manually create a Slack channel from the…
-
Hi @Nathan Ell , If the tags are being added at the time of alert creation via the advanced integration settings, you can create 4 different Global policies to satisfy your requirements. Here is what the first one would look like: If you're wanting to route based on fields that are in the PRTG payload, you will need to…
-
Hi @roldemaat-bol . You should be able to revoke access to the old channel here: https://opsgenie-talk.slack.com/apps/A286WATV2-opsgenie-for-alert-management?did_revoke=1&tab=settings&next_id=0 Once that is done, delete the integration and add a new Slack integration: and it will let you choose a new channel to add it to:
-
Hi @Zekai Huang , Currently, the only way to override multiple shifts is to select each one, as you mentioned, though you can multi-select by holding down cntrl/cmd: We also have a feature request in place for this, which you can follow here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/OPSGENIE-226
-
Hi @Eric R Hartway Statuspage tickets are not public currently, but you can check back with support using STATUS-477 for this feature. I don't see any updates on it yet but it should be completed in the next few months before UA reaches end of life.
-
Hi Tom, OEC is alive. You can see issues related to OEC and Opsgenie here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/OPSGENIE-1038?jql=text%20~%20%22oec%22
-
yes, they would not receive any notifications (regardless of type) until they are confirmed.
-
@Jamie Vaughn The process would be the same for distro lists, they would still need to activate the subscription by confirming - they would remain in 'unconfirmed' status.
