Interestingly.....that doesn't work. but Summary is supposed to be an available field. The plot thickens!! Thanks!!!
-
Hi @John Funk No....I just tried that again, but all it returns are the keys, no summary.

Damn fine points @Dave In my world/experience, most teams would only want their "issue source" configured for one board, but I can think of likely exceptions. So yes! option it would have to be. Question: Am I right in thinking that a shared team can have more than one "Issue source"? As in, on Plan A shared Team 1 has…
-
hey @Dave I would definitely vote for the notion of "being able to create and see that association on the board itself rather than just in a plan".
-
Thanks @tomas but that much I knew. What I was after was how that is mapped from Azure DevOps. The answer; via "Deployment type"

Hi @Hisham Balatiah Not certain I know what you are asking, but if each team has a board in Jira (ideally filtered by the Team field) and those boards have sprints, then this might be helpful? https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Advanced-Roadmaps-capacity-planning-cross-projects/qaq-p/1574354#M461115

Good point @Dave and that said, it would be awesome if Advanced roadmaps could show dependencies and other configured link types on the roadmap view, in that 'virtual string' style like roadmaps can.....hint hint :-)
-
Talk with your Jira admins, as it sounds like they have only enabled "Blocks/Is Blocked by" (which I think is there by default). But any or all link types can be enabled in Advanced Roadmaps. See here for more details: Configuring issue dependencies | Advanced Roadmaps for Jira Cloud | Atlassian Documentation

This can definitely be solved with Automation for Jira (if you have?) Trigger= Issue Created User condition (where you add all the team members) Action = Edit issue (currently needs to configured via the more options section with a bit of json) see below Note: you need to know your teams number

Hi @AOK To back up what @Dave has said, I'll add another reason why classic projects could be a better option for you. Classic Projects have Roadmaps these days (feels like they have for a while now) Simply go to Board Settings/Roadmap and enable via the toggle
-
Is your Jira setup cloud based, or server? As I don't recognize the above screenshot as Advanced Roadmaps via Cloud...which is what I thought we were discussing....Sorry!!
-
Can you elaborate on what you mean by "Program schedule" please?
-
HI @david.hiatt Nothing to fear, it is a good idea. What I have seen happening at my site is, Boards being filtered by the new Team field, then those boards being used as issue sources for the creation of plans. This keeps everything based around the concept of team (which is great). Other cools elements to this, * shared…

Hi @Lopes, Bonnie Q Yes, which ever date fields you choose to use in configure/scheduling/Dates section of your plan, are the dates reflected on that plans timeline. I am not certain about your 2nd bullet point. Not sure of how any priority is handled via auto-schedule. @William Sheboy any thoughts/ideas on this?
-
I don't believe there is, currently. But it is a good Idea. You should suggest/request it via the "Give feedback" button in Advanced Roadmaps.
-
Sounds like "Blocked" is the only link type enabled in the admin settings of your sites Advanced Roadmaps dependencies. Others or all link types can be added, but any changes made will impact all existing (and future) plans. A global setting, in other words. Talk with your admins about it. It can be found under…

Have you (or your Admin) made the team field visible in Jira? if not, then it is not going to be visible (as @Joseph Chung Yin suggests). But it can be made visible in Jira and used in JQL/Board filter queries etc. At this stage though, the Team field and the assignee are not linked in any meaningful way..as in, you can…

I agree with @Darryl Lee regarding "real time" is better than post assumed success. That said, i helped a team set up automation at Story level to monitor for sub-tasks still open and just sent the "initiator" (the person who did the transition) an email.

EPIC for Squad 3 that has story points? or an extra issue type at the Epic level of your Hierarchy that has story points?? Would to see more, to advise more

Love the Create Dashboard Gadget export option. One suggested improvement would be; When naming the filter, it would be great if you were prompted to (and given the option) to set the permissions at that point. Otherwise, unless you already have (which means you have already named and saved the filter) it will Private and…

More granular control of Admin roles sounds good. Multiple identity providers with SSO. MDM controls for mobile and automation for Confluence!!
-
I notice you are using the "Relates" link type, which is an extra confusing one as both the inbound and outbound descriptions are "relates to". Which makes me wonder if it isn't doing it because the linkages are round the wrong way. Have you tried testing with another link type? or doing the opposite link configuration? I…

To create a plan with multiple projects content in it, you are best to filter the content in via Boards or the whole project (as long as the projects aren't to large), rather than using a Filter. I find, using boards that are filtered by "Team" works well. Also, ensure each shared team has that same board as the…
-
Hi I too experienced this (on Cloud). Contact Atlassian support. They had to do a re-index in the background to fix my user.
-
@Mark Kasindorf it will show whichever link types are configured for use with Advanced Roadmaps. This is set for all plans in the admin section "Advanced Roadmaps dependencies". If Blocked is the only link type working, then it sounds like no-one has configured this yet. See here for…

The story points option is disabled when a team is set as a Kanban team, it isn't that the board you are using as a issue source happens to be a kanban board. Go to the Teams section of the Plan and ensure all in scope teams are set up as Scrum (even if it is a team created by the Plan from a kanban board). Once you do…
-
This is a great addition to Advanced Roadmaps, but I do agree that a scroll bar and perhaps some way of arranging the layout of the report would be good to have. Especially when you a large number of dependencies displayed, as it can mean a lot of scrolling is required and when people 1st navigate to it, if they don't know…

I would be interested. prefer lunchtime, afternoon, or evening events (in that order)

Have you tried importing from Word to create a page? That way you get your word processor but it ends up in Confluence. What about the templates? Cloud has many that are great or great for inspiration on how to create beautiful content on Confluence. Not to mention, by using templates (either existing or ones you create…
