@Coby Fuller you could also add into the automation suggested by @Darshan Mandhane an email (back to the initiator) or a slack or Teams message to a channel letting them know the date had changed and to add a comment providing a relevant justification for the change....if you like? Reactive rather than proactive I realise,…

Hi @Neil Wills Can you share a screenshot of your rule as well as any audit log entries to help the community try and assist you please? What JQL are you using for your lookup issues action?
-
Doesn't look like you can.....not sure why, other than "AR is for planning, looking at current and work coming soon, not work that is resolved" type thinking. That said, I can see why you might want it in a certain view. I would "give feedback" via the Give Feedback button, if i were you.

And yes, you can use automation to add the Team. In Project A create automation like: Trigger: When issue is created Action: Edit issue Currently the “Team” field cannot be selected from the “Choose fields to select” dropdown, so you need to add a Smart value setup like this into the “more options” section. Note; Team 298…

Yes, I think you should. Good luck!!!

Hi @Vilhelmine Are the Epics visible in the Plan? as that doesn't appear to be rolling up at all. How different is the view when not "rolled-up"? Regarding which dependencies you can view. That is set globally in the Advanced roadmap settings and cannot be further filtered in the Plans/Dependency report. I like the idea…

Hi @Coby Fuller I agree with @Everett Cavazos you could do this easily with Automation for Jira. Using In progress as the status and Transformations as the component, it would go like this. There might be a smart value way of getting {{component.Lead}}, but i could find it....at a glance. So the below would mean hard…

Hi @Chase Wilson These are all great new features.....and all of them appear to be working (in my instance) except certain Timeline features (nesting, grab handles). Any idea why? I have tested on a generic JWM project and also on one with customised issue types and workflow. Which leads to, will the nesting work for Epic…

Hey @Ricky Wang Lin I think the key word here is "report". I don't see AR as a reporting tool, but rather another way of looking at Jira data. You are onto it with the "progress (issue count or Story point)" field and for my money, that does provide an at a glance barometer of progress of a feature/initiative...whatever.…
-
Hi @Ricky Wang Lin I think you have answered your own question. If you want to have a Pie Chart view of the data contained in a AR plan, then doing it via the confluence macro or dashboard gadget is the way to go about that. To do so, you would need to build a JQL query that incorporates all the issue sources used to…

Hi @Vilhelmine Welcome to the community! I'm not entirely sure I know which view you are asking about. Do you mean the pre-set "Dependency Management" view? or the "Dependencies Report"?? If the former, unticking "Show full hierarachy" should tidy up that view. For stories not linked to an Epic, it is true....they…

I love Advanced Roadmaps and as an admin/Atlassian SME, I love how intuitive it is for Jira users to adopt. I do agree with @Shaun Jones as scaling a Plan across too many projects means it can get....sluggish, hard to read/keep control of. Favourite (new) feature?
-
Also, who is the Actor of the rule? Does that account have the right permissions??
-
Hi @Singleton, Shametta (Contr) You could just schedule an email with a link to a confluence page (that you've prepared earlier) for them to fill out each day.
-
Hi @Charan goud I don't think this can be done (happy to be corrected), but can I ask why this needs to be done via a CSV file? Presumably the file (seeing they are all single-line text fields) only has one, possibly two columns "Name" and "Description". So other than saving a bit of time loading via some kind of import…

I was going to ask about Asia/Pacific English version times as well. But instead I will ask: Can the English version be recorded and if we have signed-up to go to it (but don't make it....2am NZ time) we can receive a link to watch it later? Please!!! As this is a great subject matter that I love to be able to digest and…

OK, talk with your Jira admin team....I'd like to think they know why this is occurring
-
Thanks @秦怡洁 what happens if yo change the end date in Jira itself? Does it still change back? Do the issues involved have any dependencies? as i note you have them set to Sequential. Does changing that to Concurrent make a difference? Beyond these, I would suggest you engage with your Jira admins to investigate, then if…

Is a form of answer @[deleted] I now know it isn't just us or what we did 😄
-
HI @秦怡洁 welcome to the community Based on "plug-in", I'm guessing you are not using Jira Cloud, but a server/DC instance? A couple more questions, to help us better understand your situation: * When you look at the history, who does it say changed the date back to June 8? * Could there be automation in place that s forcing…
-
TBH I don't know. but based on how new JWM is (and the timeline/roadmap view in Jira is generally), I doubt it. Question: You are on cloud, yeah? Cloud premium comes with Advanced Roadmaps, where this functionality exists. Would you consider Cloud premium as an option?
-
Right!! I would ask this directly via an Atlassian Support ticket, as it is such a specific version iteration question.
-
Yes @Sara Dubuque both do. Of the 2, I prefer the 2nd one, as presumably by clicking on another list or board in the left hand side panel would take you directly there. Where the 1st one, you have to close the view, to navigate to another list, board etc. That said, I can understand people wanting the fuller view of the…
-
Firstly "Feature Feedback Friday" is a fabulous idea! I would vote for option C, as that way you can still see and interact with the list view. Plus you can evoke option A by simply clicking on the key from this "compact view"....yeah? Option B feels like a navigational dead-end. How do you navigate back to the list view…

Hi @Sanjay Kumar Jain Disclaimer: I only know the Cloud version of AR But I don't think this is possible. As a Kanban team in AR doesn't acknowledge story points. Plus, when grouping by team with show capacity ticked, AR displays the sprints, which is where the capacity is designated against. Kanban has no timebox to…
-
Loving all these new features. Great stuff!!
-
Hi @osjimenez There doesn't appear to be...currently. I agree, your suggestions would be really beneficial and some way of filtering/arranging the Timeline would make the world of difference to this view (which is loaded with potential).
-
That is definitely it @Alan Tragarz You need to filter in all of the hierarchy, so that the children are part of the plan, then it be able to do its tricks :-)
-
Hi @Alan Tragarz Sorry, i was talking Cloud. OK, I think the reason you can't see the Story points option is due to the Plan not being configured for Story Points in the Estimation section. Also, might be worth checking that the Teams in the plan are set up as Scrum teams and not Kanban (as Kanban assumes no story…
