You need to update the borders filter if you want to do that. If you add ORDER BY created DESC to your JQL query, the results are ordered from newest to oldest. Keep in mind that by doing this, you will affect the default's ranking order that is used in the JQL. Cheers

Just to add to #3, I just find it super annoying that I need copy the existing workflow and then edit it if I have new statuses to be added for example. Then apply the new workflow to the project workflow scheme. In DC/Server, I can just edit the damn workflow.
