Hi @Crystal Rouse You will have to use a scripting plugin such as scriptrunner/powerscripts/JMWE to access the objects in your Data Center instance. I believe there is an AQL you can run with the scripts that should check if an object with the same attribute already exists. Regards, Fabian

Hi @Ian Ball I think it's just a basic jira automation rule. Trigger/Condition/Action. Looks like the documentation is not up to date. Regards, Fabian
-
Hi @Tomas Franco Welcome to the community! Looks like the logic expressions are limited. You will have to use the "if/ese" condition and on each branch include the edit action. I hope this helps. Fabian

Hi @Arooba Al Siyabi , For non-agents (i.e from within the customer portal), I don't believe this is possible at the moment, as it's not possible to have a screen as part of the approval - nor is it possible to ensure the validators activate when approving from the portal. There are feature requests for this, check…

Hi @Zulfiqar Ali Shah Kazmi Welcome to the community! Nothing should happen out of the box, unless you have some automation that closes all stories/tasks linked to the epics. Regards, Fabian
-
Hi @George Davitaya Welcome to the community! You need to ensure that the if and else statements are all within the same branch. In your automation, after the first if statement runs, then it will run the second and then the second one runs. I hope this he.ps.

Hi @Natalie Bateman Check this article: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/create-a-board/ It's kind of hidden now. Once you create the board, update the filters accordingly. I hope this helps. Fabian

Hi @Сергей Check if the problem ticket is using the same custom field as the description of the original ticket. It's possible that you have multiple description custom fields created and in the view/edit screen you are showing the wrong one. Fabian

Hi @Karin Biedermann Out of the box this functionality is not available. I suggest you look into the marketplace for plugins that provide you with this functionality in DC. Some may be free, but you will have to work with the system admin to install for you. Regards

Hi @Akash Can you share screenshots? Are you using a specific gadget? I would check whether the users and the creators have access to both filters first. Also, ensure that the users have browse access to projects being used in the dashboards. Regards, Fabian
-
Hi @Raj Krishnasamy As far as I know it's not possible. You will have to manually copy the permissions. It would be easier if you manage the permissions via groups, but if they are individually added to different spaces and projects, it will be a pain in the ass. Regards, Fabian

Hi @john chen If you need help with building a CRM my company could help (Contegix). Or someone else can chime in with other options.
-
Hi @Tony Anselmo I would check if someone set an attribute on the object to be mandatory after the import. Check your attributes and whatever is mandatory must be imported with a value. Regards, Fabian
-
You can't do that unfortunately out of the box in standard. I don't think automation allows you to grab customer info. You will need to upgrade to the premium tier and leverage the Assets functionality. You can build a customer CRM database and then with automation pull all the customers. For this, you would need someone…

Hi @Dennis_H Have you tried this? https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/How-to-change-issue-type-via-automation/qaq-p/2025518

Hi @Monica Unfortunately this is not possible out of the box. You will need reporting plugins to get you this. EazyBI is the app I would recommend for this one. Example: https://community.eazybi.com/t/count-user-interaction-with-issue/4309/5 I will let others chime in with other plugins. Regards, Fabian

Hi @Abir Brahem Welcome to the community! Here is a video that shows you how to use jira automation to parents and sub-tasks sync: https://youtu.be/DcPYrw-Puus?si=4BlyDmVZFSL38TIl You will have to modify the automation to update the subtasks status when the parent ticket changes. Regards, Fabian
-
You will have to use a plugin unfortunately. If you are doing this only once, I would just use configuration manager for the trial period while you are moving to the new project.

Hi @john chen You can try Jira Automation with the following: * Trigger: Field value changed * Fields to monitor for changes: Attachment * Send a customized email (video tutorial here) You may also want to add a condition that it has be uploaded from the portal by the customer…

Hi @Scott Bjorke Welcome to the community! Adding @Gabriel Raubenheimer to comment and see if this is in the roadmap. One options is to purchase a calendar plugin and have a jql pull-in the change tickets. Regards, Fabian

The widget configuration tutorial has been released.

Hi @Ganesh Satav For DC take a look at this: https://confluence.atlassian.com/automation074/smart-assign-jira-issues-load-balancing-round-robin-and-more-1141481228.html It's using jira automation. There are also various plugins that can help. Good luck.

@Dániel Szotyori [META-INF] I have a few potential ITSM clients who may be interested in the app. Would love to book a demo. Regards, Fabian

Hi @Yash Pradhan I believe that is slowly being rolled out to all instances in the cloud. Since you are a premium customer I would contact Atlassian customer support and inquire if they can push it sooner to you. Hopefully one of the Atlassian AI members can chime in with better instructions.

Hi @Adam Lusted Welcome to the community! Affects versions and fixed versions are values that are picked up from the jira releases/versions in the project. So they are essentially the same, but used in different contexts. In a bug you will use affect version that it was found and fixed version would be used to tag a new…

Hi @Teeksh Nagwanshi, Welcome to the community! If you are asking to have a plugin installed you need to work with the system admin to install the app. Note that the pricing is based on the total number of users in your instance. So you may want to get buy-in from other teams in your organization. I hope this helps.
