It's odd that the issue created trigger didn't work for you, but I'm glad you figured out a way to accomplish what you need.

Still no sprint data in the data lake?

ETA that I realized I may have misunderstood. If you mean the project roadmap, and not advanced roadmap, can you provide more info about your rule setup? I just tested creating a story under an epic in the project-level roadmap, and an "issue created" triggered rule did run. Hi, @Anna - it's not triggering because an issue…

Hi, grafra@PASS - Atlassian has changed the names of the project types. What used to be "next-gen" is now called "team-managed", and "classic" is now "company-managed". If you have access to create company-managed projects, you can do so from the Projects menu or Projects page, and then use a bulk update to move all…

Wow, @Dániel Ballabás - catworkx -that's really creative! We don't have anything fun like that. Our headquarters office (company-owned) has a full gym, including multiple group classes per day, that on-site employees have access to. But for those of us who worked in satellite offices (and now have no office at all;…
-
Hi, @Simon Carroll - the reason for this is that Story Point Estimate is a native field that was designed specifically for use in team-managed projects. Advanced Roadmaps do not currently support team-managed projects. There is a ticket open requesting this ability; vote and watch to get updates. Check the comments as…

Hi, @Bhavik Chauhan , welcome to the Community! Can you provide a bit more detail? Which dashboard gadget are you trying to use? Can you post a screenshot of both the filter and the gadget configuration?
-
Hi, @jteamsupport - yes, it's possible. The Lookup action automatically puts its results in a smart value called lookupIssues. You can check for a value and then use different actions depending on whether it's empty or not. Here's a manually-triggered example; in my sample project I don't have any tickets that are…

@Somnath Patil I appreciate your continuing effort, but again - the second user could be any one of 500. Creating an IN clause with 500 user names or IDs is not possible.
-
@Umer Sohail _K15t_ Milo is 100% adorable! I don't currently have pets, but Milo reminds me of my uncle's "dog" (I maintain that he's a muppet; there's no way a real animal could be this cute!)
-
@Somnath Patil thank you for the response. But I may have oversimplified. The "other" users could be any of our 500 users, and creating an OR statement for that is not exactly efficient. What I'm trying to do is find and exclude tickets where a specific user is the ONLY value in the field, while NOT excluding tickets where…

@Alon Shoham I was suggesting you use the Log action to print out the value of your smart variable (both the plain variable and the variable with the format function) to the rule's audit log to see what the values actually are. However, @Bill Sheboy has given you much more info already.
-
@Alon Shoham can you try logging both the variable ({{MinStartDate}}) and the formatted version you're trying to put into your Start Date field? The date calculation may not be what you expect.
-
@Bobby Bailey thanks for the response. I did open a ticket last week. It's very strange; with that particular behavior, I made no changes to it overnight but when I went back the next day the errors were gone and it was working. However, every time I try to create new behaviors, I either get those same errors or they just…

Hi, @Fabrice Krøyer-Loudet - welcome to the Community! Unfortunately, this is a user-supporting-user volunteer site; we can answer technical questions, but cannot help you recover your site. You will need to contact Atlassian Support by submitting a ticket at https://support.atlassian.com/contact. Good luck!

I got rid of my cable TV subscription a few years ago, and the only thing I really missed was Jeopardy, so I just started spending $60+ per month for YouTube Premium just so I can have network TV and a cloud DVR for 30 minutes of TV a day. Still cheaper than cable by far, although I should probably look at my various…

@Jimmy Seddon I'll take May 19 (or any available date!)

Hi, @Amy Conley - welcome to the Community! Thanks for the clarification. I don't think just a filter is going to give you what you want. A filter is a search result; you can create a search that only shows certain tickets, but that doesn't prevent anyone in the system from finding those tickets through their own search.…
-
OK, so "project" in this case is an issue type (a ticket); you're not referring to the Jira project itself? In that case, you shouldn't need to fiddle with workflows. The native way to do that is to link the two tickets together with a link type of Blocker (or Blocked By, depending on which ticket you do the linking from.)…
-
I'm not sure I understand. Are you saying you want to create a project where every ticket in it is listed as blocked by default?
-
@Steven Rhodes you can get the total number of issues in your instance using this API call; just paste it into a browser URL bar. https://<your_url>.atlassian.net/rest/api/2/search?jql=&fields=*none%22&maxResults=0

Hi, @Lejun Hu - welcome to the Community! First, just to clarify, we are not Atlassian tech support. If you're trying to reach actual support, you'll need to go to https://support.atlassian.com/contact. The Community is a user-driven site; we are all users and admins just like you, volunteering our time to answer…

Hi, @Inna Kohler - welcome to the Community! Unfortunately the Comment field doesn't allow searches for empty/non-empty, so you have to do some ugly things :( Here are a few ways: * Native Jira, you can use (comment ~ "anything*" OR comment !~ "anything*") If you want to search for tickets where there are NO comments, add…
-
Hi, @robert cortez . Is this just for convenience (i.e. users only want to deal with tickets for their own department), or are there security implications (users should not be allowed to see tickets for other departments)? And are you referring to your licensed service desk agents, or to customers in the portal view? If…
-
Hi, Robert. Guest access does not equal a product access license, but I'm not sure what (if any) effect Active Directory has on this.

OK, so that's not how validators work. A validator is designed to check for a specific item (field value, user role, etc.) and allow a transition to happen if the condition passes. There's no way to show the error and then show them a new screen. The only thing you could do is put the field you want to use (i.e. priority)…
-
Hi, @Hemal Jivani What error does your validator show? And what does your validator look like? Can you share a screenshot of the setup? A validator that's checking for a non-empty value in your Priority field should work.
-
Hi, @Alberto Dominguez-Ramirez - welcome to the Community! You don't specify who "we" is when asking if "we" can receive an email when a customer replies to a service desk message. But yes, it's possible using automation rules - when a customer replies by email, it's added to the ticket as a comment, so you can use the…

Yeah, I've checked jira.atlassian.com as well, but my JQL-fu is failing me.
-
Yes, unfortunately Jira is known for date display issues. The edit mode fields will show number-only formats (18/2/23) because they use a date picker widget; when not editing the field they will show the longer format (18 Feb 2023). As to why your search column is showing relative dates, I'm sorry - I don't have an answer.…
