@Jay Greguske @[deleted] Could you add more context? This app may work or maybe heading down the correct direction
-
Hi @Wes Cropp With the built in tools you can do it for certain things, like time in sprint, estimations etc. For more specific charting you would need a third part app. At my company we use Rich Filters for Jira which many seem to like. For Cloud you may want to look into something…

Hi @G subramanyam The Enterprise Group is currently working on discussions to find out these use cases. The above responses actually cover everything I am able to think of, though if others have ideas I would love to hear them. Best, Clark

I would love this. So many good features would benefit a lot of teams

Hi Marco, Thanks for joining the community! Unfortunately no, this function overrides the space permissions in Confluence as outlined in Atlassian's documentation. https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/give-access-to-unlicensed-users-from-jira-service-management-829076204.html Usually the best way to handle these kinds of…

The perfectionist....should add tries to over outline and configure everything even if it can't be done....spends too much time making it pretty etc lol

@Rob Horan I agree the field context menu in both Cloud and Data Center could use some loving. Not only for the aforementioned reasons you said, but also it's very easy to accidentally unselect everything and can cause much bigger problems in my opinion. I will see if I can find a feature request for this and share it…

Hi @Dan What do they want to see? Reports in Core and Software can be made to be the same. Depending what they want to see and what all the requirements are, Advanced Roadmaps or some other App may be beneficial. But without knowing what they want it will be hard to recommend options. Best, Clark

@Callum Carlile _Automation Consultants_ I would 100% agree. I was lucky enough when I was learning Jira my previous boss told me to do all the training first. So we developed a path and went from there. But the instance I took over for, very few people followed that process and it had created a mess. Clark

Hi @EB , You should be able to just @ mention them in a comment and they will get updated. This usually works for all Atlassian products. For deleting a board click more->Close board->permanently delete https://help.trello.com/article/801-deleting-a-board Best, Clark

@Dave LIAO I don't know if I mind this approach. You would just need to use different field configurations. Though I think maybe standardize field configurations via department or something so that they mean the same thing for certain working groups
-
Hi @[deleted] Are you using team managed projects or company managed projects? Epics are just the base highest level and issues are supposed to be put under Epics. however you should be able to see the issues on the roadmaps if configured properly. However, the configuration for each is different. For team managed for…

Field contexts save so much time, and combine that with field configurations for different definitions

Our team is just getting started with Advanced Roadmaps, but as we discover more I am sure we will receive requests. Currently I can't think of any yet but I know this will change.

Hi Antonio, Sprints and Kanban are two methodologies of AGILE work. I will try to sum up the basics but I would highly recommend taking a course on it...Atlassian even offers one: https://training.atlassian.com/jira-essentials-agile-mindset Sprints work by the ideas that every Sprint you plan x amount of work. The x is the…

Hi Lyle, Seems you're plugins either aren't launching or something is going on with the UPM. I would shut down jira and start by clearing the plug in cache then restart. If that doesn't work, shut down and enable the plug ins in the database. This issue seems similar to yours from a few years ago so the steps in here…

Hi Ellie, Do you have a Jira Software license or just a Jira Sevice Management License? To create a Kanban board you would need a Jira Software license, then you can follow this: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/create-a-board/ Best, Clark
-
Hi David, Can you share screenshots of the rules or how the rules work so we can help troubleshoot? Without seeing what rules you have applied, it's hard to see what's going on. Best, Clark
-
Hi Felix, You can definitely do this, it would be one page per iframe if you want it to look good, in theory you can do more than one but it would get cluttered. I would suggest not over using iFrames though for all the pages and create a link to it instead. Using pages through iFrames isn't always the best user…

Hi @Andrian F Data center compatible means it meets all of Atlassian's requirements to be considered a Data Center application. The application vendor will also provide support for issues related to Data Center. Added support means from the vendor's standpoint it should work on Data Center. Though it may not meet…

Hi @Desmond Welcome to the Community! They shouldn't receive it unless they have some kind of permissions. This applies to Jira as well, they would need the browse project permission before they can even get any notification. In Confluence, they would need the view permission. Though, unlike some other apps you won't…

@Rob Horan yes from grammarly "Hi there! Our product isn't a keylogger. We don't record every keystroke you make on your device. Grammarly accesses only the text you write while using our product so we can provide our services to you." which is the definition of keylogging. Obviously it only happens when you are using the…

Hi @Russ Jang Normally it is recommended to just disable. Disabling them removes their license so they are not counting against your user allotment. However to delete a user, depending on the tool it will remove any references to the user. So for Confluence, this would mean it removes their name from any place they had…

Is this feature cloud only or are there plans to bring it to data center?

Hi Radu, You'll need to change your board filter it sounds like: https://www.atlassian.com/blog/jira-software/jql-the-most-flexible-way-to-search-jira-24 One thing that will need to be changed is your ORDER BY condition. It also sounds like you'll need to change the time range. Without knowing the board's JQL it's somewhat…

Hi David, You should be able to copy and paste the Grammarly text into Grammarly's web editor. There is a suggestion for this feature: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-44321 However, i would also recommend you check with your Security team if Grammarly should be used. Most people don't realize Grammarly is a…

Hi Paul, Have you checked the overall Space Permissions? In order for a user to be able to edit a Page, they first need a license. Followed by Space permissions, followed by Page permissions. https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/space-permissions-overview-139521.html Best, Clark

Hi Robert, Are you already using components in the project? That would be one way. Set automation rules so that anytime a ticket is created from email x (or some differentiator for a company) assign it the component of X (x being company name) and assign the account manager as the component lead. Then add component lead to…
-
Though to aadd to John, if you change a project key in a project, then the old one can't be used because it can break links etc for tickets already created for it. Though, changing project keys for a project generally isn't recommended. Only Jira Admins can do it.
