Hi Steve, I believe if people are CC'd in they are added as watchers. if you have the manage watchers ability, you can click the ... for more and click Manage watchers for a list. Beyond that it's based on permissions scheme, so you would need to check which roles or groups get notifications there. Best, Clark

Hi @Swaroop It is possible but not without an add on. You would need either an add on like automation for jira (which I believe is now included in Data Center, and if it's only for individual projects, not for boards with multi projects you can use the lite…

Oh no I'm not wearing green. My girlfriend is definitely going to judge me for this. Thanks for the reminder @Jimmy Seddon

Hi Bojana, Welcome to the community! The big difference is free members can only edit boards that are visible only to themselves. Though they can have read-only access to other team boards. This document outlines all the differences: https://help.trello.com/article/831-trello-business-class-vs-trello-gold Best, Clark

Hi Ray, Cumulative flow diagrams work off the concept of "work" (issues) always being added to the backlog. If you aren't adding as many issues into the backlog as you are closing then then diagrams should be going down. So never is a strong word as it depends on the project. If this is a project that has a finite time…

Hi @Chiara Squilloni The calculator and prices you see there are the annual prices as of today. So if prices stay the same and you pay annually then that is what you'll pay next year. However, if Atlassian increases the prices next year it may raise. The price is not a one time discount, it's what the bill is. Though…

@Chiara Squilloni They have a calculator for Cloud: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/pricing Be aware, if you plan on allowing anyone to login and grant access (like SSO etc) if you go annually it's best to take into account for your companies growth because if you go over the user limit people will have issues with…

Hi Robert, This is why we have a list of users that access via the API. Usually on server, unless you have a specific add on, username and password is needed for API access. Only in Cloud does it work via Tokens unless you are on 8.15 or higher for Jira, which just came out. If you do have an add-on I would suggest…

Hi @Robert Mullenix Thanks for posting this as we are actually going through something similar, so if there is a better way I would love to hear it. However, the way we do it (and this is where policy comes in) is anyone who accesses Jira via API or Bot needs to send in a request and the bot is created. We have a document…

@Rob For bulk changes they have to be converted to like tasks. However if you click the more button you should have a convert option in each issue. Another option is to make an Epic and make the corresponding tasks part of that Epic, which maybe less work but accomplishes something similar. Best, Clark

Hi @Emanuela Rebecchi Welcome to the community, it definitely isn't as clear as it could be. But if you go to the board and click on your icon (initials or picture) and click leave board, that should work Best, Clark

Hi Serge, With the built in functionality of Blueprints and Templates I do not believe this is possible. If you have add-ons like script runner for Confluence you maybe able to do this. Though if this is your only need for scripts, I would suggest creating process documents for it similar to how Atlasssian has process docs…

Hi @Andreas You should be able to go to the Summary Page of the Confluence Space by clicking either the gear or going to another Summary Page of a different space and modifying the URL accordingly. Once you get there you can insert a different page as the homepage. I would take screenshots but I am locked out of my cloud…

Hi @Carlos Ramirez This feature does not exist yet, however, Atlassian is gathering interest on it: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-4445 Best, Clark

Hi @Jordan Artman Is this a sub task that all tasks will have? As you are in cloud I may suggest you do this via automation for Jira instead if so. i do not believe a post function will allow this level of granularity without some kind of add-on. Even then, the cloud APIs may have limits in this regard. However, Cloud…

Welcome!

Hi Ahmad, If I am understanding this properly, you have a Jira instance where people are using stories and tasks and then creating over 100 sub tasks for each of these issues? I would recommend working with people there about how to use Jira as this sounds like some kind of misunderstanding. In theory they should at the…

Hi @Erin Coffey This menu normally shows for new users. Did you click the dismiss button? Apparently there was a recent update so you can bring it back"The ‘Quick start’ panel is getting an upgrade - now you’ll be able to restart product tours, navigate directly to ‘getting started’ documentation and get up and running…

Hi Chris, Have you tried adding the users individually versus doing it via a group? Could you create a demo space and take some screenshots? That may help as well. Otherwise, if you have a NDA with the vendor, you may also reach out to them for support as they should be able to provide insight on their app if the first…
-
Hi @Andreas The best way to do this to my knowledge is to go to start.atlassian.net but not sure if it's the same for free accounts.
-
Hi @Peter Johansson , This is for automation for Jira correct? If so you can but you need to have them as branches of the transition for current issue. And under the branch issues you put the values. Best, Clark

@Kat Figurelli Welcome to the Community. Last time I did this I created a new page, and in the Space Settings change the home page location: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/set-up-a-space-home-page-829076213.html After you do that however, you need to configure the page tree to have the old documents under them This…

Hi Nick, If I remember correctly, it's not asking them to create a new full space, but a personal space which you should be able to restrict: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/How-to-block-personal-spaces/qaq-p/261383 In regards to inviting users, unless something changed since December, you are not…
-
Hi Roja, There is a 2 fold answer to this. First, someone needs to have the Page Restrictions Permission assigned to them within a Space in Confluence. From the Space level, only Space Admins can do this. However, full Confluence Admins can also make themselves Space Admins at any time. Now for pages themselves, if someone…

Hi Nancy, I would recommend just using the API to get your list of fields and cross reference with the find feature of an os (control/Command F) https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-find-id-for-custom-field-s-744522503.html Best, Clark

Hi Jefferson, How many users are you talking? Do these Trello users not also have access to Confluence or any of the other tools you list? If they do, then you are already paying for them. You pay per user not per application. Trello Free will also remain Trello free, just much easier to manage. However, with the changes…

Hi kmurray@digitalguardian.com Unless this has changed since I last did it the short answer is you can't. However, the long answer is you can in a way. You need to put the page you want into edit mode and then copy and paste it's layout into a space or global template. If it's just into a space, any space admin can do…

Haha @Jimmy Seddon I needed this last night when I couldn't figure out my node.js app
