  • Hi @Adam Purcell Welcome to community! If you haven't introduced yourself in the Welcome Center! For editing templates you actually need to modify the Space or Global Blueprints: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/edit-a-template/ Best, Clark
  • Hi @K Langford This can't be done natively. Do you have Jira Server or Data Center? If you have Data Center you can use dependency reports If you have server you would need to have scriptrunner and use scriptrunner JQL. If you don't have one of those though then you would need to look into switching to Cloud or upgrading…
  • Hi @Monica Collins is the user using Chrome? If so she is probably affected by a known bug https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-73196 You would need to update your Jira instance to resolve the issue Best, Clark
  • @Kevin Mardorf Are you the only Admin for your instance? If no then reach out to your other admin, have them go to the board and add your updated account back to the admin roles and to the board admin permission If yes, you need to open a support case on support.atlassian.com Also, if yes, you should setup someone else as…
  • Hi Jamie, If permission helper says everything is correct and Jira isn't functioning properly, I would reach out to Atlassian to troubleshoot what is going on with your database. As you are in cloud there aren't really any backend logs you can look at directly yourself. Best, Clark
  • When you use the permission helper on your name, and choose assign issue for the permission in question, does it say you have permissions or does it have any x's in the permission helper. The permission helper is the best way to check.
  • Hi Jamie, Check the permissions scheme to see who has the assign permission. Alternatively you can use the permissions helper https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/use-the-jira-admin-helper/
  • Hi @xJohnx Welcome to the community! I previously used test rail and I believe there was configuration on the test rail side too, but it was a while ago. Usually when it comes to plug ins the best thing to do is open a ticket with the vendor. While you may get lucky and find someone that has done third party integration…
  • Hi Michael, Welcome to the community! Does your organization have a Jira Admin? Many admins have done complex workflows like this, but the real trick to them is to keep them simple. Many people here could give ideas how to start a workflow like this but the issue comes when you need to make changes to it later, as those…
  • Hi Ankush, To my knowledge is no you can't restrict them adding groups to project roles. However the way we handle this in our company is from the permission scheme themselves. We have a public Jira instance and for our public projects the browse project permissions are visible to the jira-users group. For the private ones…
  • Hi Satish, Welcome to the community! So this is a tricky subject. The way boards work is anything in the done column will disappear, thats just how columns work. Thus you would need to change the board layout, however, this can break sprint reporting. A better way to handle this would be to make a roadmap that gives you a…
  • Hi Jamie, I would first check your permissions. If you are an admin, for cloud instances that doesn't necessarily mean you have project permissions so you may need to add yourself to the proper role in the project. You would need the assign issue permission If you have permissions, can you go to the issue directly and not…
  • Hi Robert, For most apps in Jira you can type "gg" on your keyboard and then type manage apps to get to the admin section of app management. You can then see if it is enabled there or disabled. It could be an expiration issue. There should also be a support link for the plug in vendor there and usually for third party…
  • Hi Erez, Are you referring to the third-party plug in Structure? Or a built in tool by Atlassian If the former, even thought there maybe some users of the tool in the community, it is usually best to open a ticket with the vendor directly. There are hundreds of plug ins for atlassian products, maybe thousands if not more.…
  • Hi William, I would advise against this even if there is a power-up. The reason is that in all Atlassian systems there is no such data as last comment date. The date would be last updated date. This date is changed whenever any changes are made to a card, whether by a user or an automation etc. So while the data can be…
  • Hi Giacomo, Welcome to the community! So you would need to use a couple of automation rules from what I see. The first would be when a card is created add a start date of today Then you can add another rule using calendar that runs weekly for any cards with a start date older than x days move to done Hope this helps! Clark
  • Hi Michael, Welcome to Community! Confluence search results especially on server are fairly limited. You can use labels or the Page Icnert macro to try and improve them, but unfortenltly server doesn't have the same AI functions Cloud have to help improve search functionality. As server is planned to go away by 2024 many…
  • Hi @Simon Scheller Welcome to the Community! Currently Atlassian is actually removing the Jira App from mac in a month. You can read more about it here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Mobile-Apps-articles/Announcement-Sunsetting-the-Jira-Cloud-for-Mac-App/bc-p/1916673#M148 The confluence app is being closed as…
  • Hi @Ramy You should always test this is in a staging environment before doing in production to check any of these issues. I am unsure myself but that's also because at every org i worked at we used a plugin to do this nothing built by Atlassian except Cloud. Best, Clark
  • No problem, honestly it's easy to overlook. Some things are taken for granted. i just remember even when we moved to cloud at my old company or have done migrations at my current company often times LDAP needs to be reset up even on the same versions, so different versions are a completely different ball game!
  • Hi @Dorli Welcome to Community! If you haven't already I would recommend introducing yourself in the Welcome Center! When you say Exchange do you mean Active Directory and the LDAP offering Microsoft has? If so you would need to purchase Atlassian Access as well as…
  • @Axel Meikies I would recommend starting at the top level of the guide: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/connecting-to-an-ldap-directory-229838241.html There are some example schemes but under the related content there are further useful guides for LDAP configuration. That page is for Confluence but it should be…
  • Hi @ChristopherChilds I would not recommend trying to script re-indexing. I see you are on Server, so for now on your version one part of it is something could go wrong and you would want to make sure you have someone on call for it, thus having that person click the button is the way to go. If you choose to stay locally…
  • Hi @Ramy Have you attempted to completely remove the previous LDAP Active Directory configuration and re-add it? If not, there are major differences between confluence 5.7.1 and 7.13.2 both tooling and architecturally speaking, it isn't a straightforward upgrade. I would recommend setting up the Active Directory sync from…
  • Hi @Mateusz Czuchrak Are you using Team or Company managed projects? Company managed projects should allow you to but team managed may not. Sub-tasks also have other limitations around archiving deleting etc.. Usually from the experience I have gained with them recently I wouldn't recommend them for anything over 2 points,…
  • Hi @Albert An You should have a billing Admin on the account and they should have access. If that person left you will need to submit a ticket on support.atlassian.com The person registered as the billing account owner can update the billing information, as a site admin you should have access to do…
  • This is an interesting decision in my part. Especially as Apple has rolled out features over the last couple of years that make it so you can make a cross platform app that seamlessly works. Take for instance Darkroom, its the same app on mac, ios and ipad. So I am not really sure how the features coming to mobile can't…
  • Hi @David Hansen My team also uses rich filters and I haven't seen any cumulative flow diagrams. The closest I see would be time series: https://wiki.qotilabs.com/rich-filters/user-s-guide/working-with-rich-filter-gadgets/the-rich-filter-time-series-chart-gadget Sometimes with third party apps its best to reach out to the…
  • Hi @Joseph Welcome to community! I would recommend checking out previous posts on this topic: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/Jira-Cloud-for-Slack-is-not-responding-to-every-user/qaq-p/1632518 Some things to check are if users in slack are the same in Jira as well as the project level…
  • Hi @Nathali Pflucker Welcome to the community! If you are referring to Atlassians Roadmap it would need to be excluded from the underlying filter. If it is related to a third party plug in, as there are many, it maybe best to reach out to the developer directly. Some vendors have members on community but not all. Best,…
