Hi @Michael Thompson thanks for the question! From the mobile app, once you click in to the alert, click the "Other Options" button to reveal the "Escalate to Next" option. This can be done whether the alert has been acknowledged or not. While my screenshots are from my iPhone, this is available in the Android app as well.…

Hi @Andrew Laden great question! In this case, I would accept a LinkedIn post that tagged Opsgenie's LinkedIn profile and also used the hashtag #chooseopsgenie. No tiktocs or grams required :).
-
Thanks so much for sharing @Andrew Laden ! You are certainly correct, it's not absolute. That's what makes Opsgenie such a helpful tool for so many teams, it is truly flexible and can be created to suit various use cases. Thanks for sharing your insights, they are certainly helpful!
-
That's awesome @Jimmy Seddon ! Thanks so much for sharing that with me. If you're willing I'd love to set up a chat to hear more about your specific experience. Best, Kate
-
Hi there @Dietrich Lehr ! Thanks for your question. Just to clarify, you would like every ticket created as a result of an Opsgenie alert assigned to a specific team in JSD, is that right? Best, Kate
-
Glad you got it to work! Thanks for sharing your experience, I'll pass this feedback along :)
-
Thanks so much @Alison !
-
Hi @Daniel_Leite thanks for your question! Can you elaborate just a bit :) Are you trying to trigger an incident based on typing a special slack command or UTF-8 character? Or are you trying to include emojis in your alerts?
-
@DT_Pham glad you got it working! Thanks for posting and sharing your experience. :)

Time to utilize a VPN for evil? ;) (kidding, kidding)

So over the break I was looking for a new exercise video. I randomly stumbled upon this series called "The Last 10 Pounds Bootcamp." I figured it would be a difficult workout but it's actually a reality series. It was filmed in Vancouver in 2007. Politically the writing did not age well, and it seems a LOT older than 12+…

Hi @Nivek90 are you located in the EU? Also, I'm not clear on why you're installing Opsgenie on multiple VMs either. Can you please explain a bit more about your use case? Are you running multiple OEC integrations? I really need more information to assist you, so try to provide as much detail as you can. Or if you prefer,…

Hi @Nivek90 what are you using as the source file for your code? If you purchased Opsgenie from Opsgenie.com then the Opsgenie+Confluence integration won't work for you at this time. This is due to the way that your information is set up on the back end. We are working to make this available for all customers. Let me know if you have any other questions.
-
Hi! @Pål F. Kristiansen Did you purchase Opsgenie from Opsgenie.com or did you purchase it from the Confluence Admin Panel? Thanks, Kate
-
Hi @Sanchit Aggarwal try this document, it explains it a bit more. https://docs.opsgenie.com/docs/jira-integration#section-integration-via-oec-for-jira-software-server-data-center-usage
-
@Nivek90 There are installation steps for Opsgenie Edge Connector (this replaces Marid) which is used for connecting Opsgenie to on-prem tools. Here is the link to those steps: https://docs.opsgenie.com/docs/oec-installation Hopefully this helps!
-
Hi @Sanchit Aggarwal Andrew makes a great point. Be sure that the way that you set up the integration makes sense for your use case. Use the action mapping portion of the integration set up, so that you're not creating an Opsgenie alert for every Jira Issue. If you're using Cloud, this is what it looks like for both Jira…

Thanks for sharing @Vickey Palzor Lepcha happy to hear you are enjoying Dark Mode! Hope you're also feeling better!
-
Hi @Nivek90 , Thanks for your question! Just a few follow-up questions for you. Where in Opsgenie are you registering a domain? Do you mean company name? Also, while Opsgenie can connect to on-prem tools via Opsgenie Edge Connector and we do offer a mobile application. It's not an on-prem tool itself. Can you explain a bit…
-
@Peter Leclercq Yes so in this case, exporting is available to folks who have purchased via the Jira Admin panel. We are working to roll this out to all Opsgenie accounts in the future.
-
Hi @Peter Leclercq did you purchase your Opsgenie account from Opsgenie.com? or via the Jira Admin panel? Thanks! Kate
-
Hi there Peter, We've recently introduced a new feature for Postmortems that allow you to export them to Confluence. Here's more information: https://www.atlassian.com/blog/opsgenie/shareable-postmortems-in-opsgenie

Hi @Sachin Nair Emirhan is exactly right, I just wanted to add some visuals for you, since I myself am a visual person :) From your Teams page, select Integrations from the left drop down. You'll see the option for API integration: Then, click on Add API. In the next window, you'll see the API Key as shown below: Hopefully…
