Hi @Kat Warner this contest was for June, but I've gone ahead and awarded you the badge anyway. Thanks so much for your participation :)
-
Thanks Mark! and Thanks @Mithlesh sharma for taking the time to post your question so we could answer it fully! Have a great day!
-
A very entertaining read! Thanks for sharing your experiences and providing me with ample chuckles.
-
Hi @Andrew Laden thanks so much for taking the time to provide this feedback. I will share it with the proper teams internally. In the meantime I encourage others to share their experiences as well! Best, Kate

Hi there @jarne staelens Yes it is a newer feature. It is available to try out using the free trial if you wanted to see it for yourself. Also, if you were interested in a demo I could connect you with the Sales team who could demo these features for you and answer your concerns. Let me know if there is another way I can…

Hi there @jarne staelens Opsgenie is now an Atlassian product. Atlassian acquired Opsgenie in September 2018. If the concern is around using on-prem tools and data privacy, Opsgenie has two features that might be worth looking into. The first is Edge Connector, which is a lightweight edge application that can be deployed…

Hi there @Prabhat Nayak if you place your mouse over the alert from the Opsgenie alerts dashboard, the details of the alert do not appear. However, if you hover your mouse over the right side of the alert, action buttons such as acknowledge, snooze, assign appear. To see alert details one must click in to the alert.…

@Steven F Behnke Awesome thanks so much for sharing! Would you mind sharing some details about your use case to help customers that are curious about Edge Encryption understand how folks are using it?

Hi @Dave Galati 1. Do i go to our account team for an invite to be able to login and use Looker for report generation ? Im unclear how to login and use Looker outside of OpsGenie When logged in to Opsgenie, as long as you're on the Standard or Enterprise plan and an admin of the account you will see an analytics tab on the…
-
@Dave Galati glad to hear it! Always feel free to post your questions here, this is a great resource for "new" and experienced Opsgenie users. :)
-
Hi there @Dave Galati can you provide a little more information? Are you trying to figure out how to generate a report in Opsgenie based on your own parameters? Or are you asking if Opsgenie uses Looker for data generation? Thanks! Kate

So funny! I used to feel that way until I worked at Starbucks for like ten years. The smell in the morning made me nauseous. But now I love coffee!
-
Hi there @Marcel Kempken since this is a very specific scenario, please work with our support team so that they can assist you in resolving this question. Let me know if you need anything else! Have a great day!
-
Hi there @Denis Ramalho due to the specificity of this question please reach out to our support team so that they may help you. Have a great day!
-
Hi Ed, the free plan is for up to five users, so if you have more than five users and you were looking to implement Opsgenie, you would need to use a different plan. But for the free 14-day trial, more than five users could trial Opsgenie. Hope that helps!
-
Also to clarify, although Opsgenie is only a cloud product, we can communicate with on-prem tools and applications! Let me know if you'd like to hear more.
-
Hi! This is a great question, we're currently working on adding various Case Studies to our website, but here are some videos done with customers that are a great way to see some use cases: https://youtu.be/EyD-py1hg3s?list=PLqRRY_KP21FulbFb6HinNXmb-jkY_uSwX https://youtu.be/NjAvpUpvuXo

Hi @Luisa Fernanda Gaviria moving this to the Jira collection so someone can answer it for you :)

-
Thanks so much @Jodi LeBlanc You're the best!
-
Hi there! You all were so great during the badge challenge, so I thought you might want to know about our upcoming AMA, would super appreciate it if you could help spread the word :) https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Opsgenie-questions/Upcoming-AMA-with-Serhat-Can-on-everything-Opsgenie/qaq-p/1128376

Hi @Javier_Garay Yes JSD has an escalation and notification piece as well. The thought process/benefits to integrating the two tools are the following: If a customer reports a major incident either via a ticket, or to an agent who will create that ticket in JSD, and at the same time Opsgenie receives alerts from your…
-
Yes @Manohar Goli (Dnfcs) Unless I'm misunderstanding your use case, you would still set up alert policies and notification policies, this way every time an alert came through related to that scheduled maintenance it would be tagged as scheduled maintenance thanks to the alert policy, and trigger an auto close thanks to…
-
Yes, great suggestion! I like opsgenie-tips because it can be used for other tips that aren't the weekly kb article as well as for the weekly kb article. Thanks @Monique vdB and @Kat Warner !
-
Hi @Manohar Goli (Dnfcs) If you don't want to receive alerts from these applications when there is scheduled maintenance/downtime but still want to receive other alerts for those applications in other scenarios the best way to go about this would be to use the Alert and Notification Policies in Opsgenie. I'll use Jira for…
-
Hi @Javier_Garay this is a great question! I wanted to take this opportunity to share a video with you that talks about how Opsgenie and Jira Service Desk complement each other: https://youtu.be/Ryu1Fiyr1ZM The two main use cases that this video covers include: * When alerts are generated from your monitoring tools,…
-
Hi @Coco _El mejor_ thanks for this question, I'm sure others are wondering about this topic as well. Currently the use case you present is not possible, but we are working on making it easier to move between Opsgenie and the rest of the products in the Atlassian Portfolio. Identity management is at the top of the list, so…
-
Hi @Ollie Guan Thanks so much! I've awarded you the badge, please let me know if you don't see it.
-
Thanks @Davin Studer ! You should now show the badge :)
-
Hi @Davin Studer ! I'm actually manually keeping track, :seenoevil: From what I've recorded you've completed all the steps with the exception of tweeting a post @Opsgenie. Let me know if I missed it! :)
