So, I do have two Epic Link fields that are both Locked by the system. Can anyone explain how that happens?
-
Yes, I do have more than one Epic link although it only allows me to select one of them and it has the correct choice in it. I'm also working out how to try to change the field with smart values right now. I'll update as things progress.
-
@Annie Lieu it looks like the link to the survey has the wrong permissions set up. I was unable to access it.
-
Rohan, no that won't work. Atlassian needs to add the extension to Firefox. Almost all of the information/documentation Atlassian puts out uses examples with Firefox as the browser.
-
@Lisa I, I'm wondering why you can't just use a link on your page. If I create a link from a document on my One Drive it takes me directly to the document and opens it in my browser.
-
Gotta laugh. My first motorized vehicle was a riding lawn mower.

@Trish Cescolini don't ever give up on the twist of the wrist until you absolutely have to. And that is one beautiful Z-28.

I've found Confluence will occasionally hiccup on a page and there is nothing found to explain it. I just recently tried out the new table charting feature and when I tried to export it to pdf the chart would not display. I went through some troubleshooting steps with the chart team to no avail. I tried it again on a new…

@Rym I'm not quite sure where to start. I'll assume for now you are referring to the Gantt view. Can you provide a screenshot of your current plan and the view you are working with? It could be as simple as having the badge setting for dependencies vs. line setting. If it is the dependencies report PERT chart then make…

@Julie d_Antin _Elements_ I see where you are going with this and I can't believe you didn't get someone to bite. I just listened to an ACE presentation from one of your colleagues on your tool Elements Connect. I always check out the add-ons and found your product Elements Spreadsheet. I'm going to give it a try as well…

@Rachel Lin It appears that having installed the tool as a beta the linkage wasn't automatic. I reinstalled it while waiting for a reply and there it was. Having the ability to link to more than one Epic in the Where are we tracking the work? would be a good addition.
-
OK, I am done pulling my hair out with this. Where is this mysterious link to existing epics in Jira? It is supposed to be something called Where are we tracking the work? I've tried adding Jira projects to Atlas to no avail and have looked for settings, configuration etc. What am I missing?
-
I certainly hope you are making the browser extension available to those of us that use Firefox.
-
@ManuMR you can do this in a number of ways depending on what tools you have at your disposal. I presume you just have Jira to work with so I'll only speak to that right now. Since you mention email in your request you can get add-ins for email clients that would allow for this. I use Outlook for work and this allows me to…

Great fun. Glad to know I'm not the only one to have done things the Fright Way!
-
OK, so I just got done replying to a community thread about what things would you like to see in the Jira environment. What Are Your Top Wish List Items For Jira @Peter Preston, I'm fairly certain this feature doesn't exist yet in Jira Software although I have no idea why it couldn't be released for Jira ASAP. I've never…
-
@Michael SimmonsI am just dumbfounded by this. I spend a lot of time looking for solutions to help me with my work that isn't covered by add-on apps and the seemingly simple things that should be a no-brainer. I'm beginning to think I should spend more time adding suggestion tickets and then get the word out via the…

@Neill BI'm not sure I even understand what the issue is. Your description of the create issue behavior doesn't sound like my experience with it. Could you provide some screen shots of what is going on?
-
You could use the Anonymous Access permission for this. Also, it appears that Atlassian is rolling out new features for this purpose. Here is the article about it. Single-space guests are coming to Confluence Cloud!
-
I can't believe there aren't more items here. * Currency field. * Summing of numbers in a table.
-
You're welcome @MollyJo Tighe. Have you been using the Advanced Roadmaps planning tool? There is where you'll visually see it the best. If you need an example let me know. I'm not exactly sure how the child issue part of this is going to work. I would be a bit disappointed if the issue layout as it is in Epics now goes…
-
@MollyJo Tigheare you on the Standard or Premium subscription Plan? I don't think this change will affect your system if you set up the hierarchy correctly. As I read it it is replacing the epic link with parent. This is already the case if you have a hierarchy that includes an issue type like Initiative. If you place the…
-
@Steven BaoI'm wondering if this is an issue with being on the basic Confluence subscription. I went back in to try it again and I still get the same error.
-
Arrrgh! I missed it. Any chance it will become available On-Demand?
-
I just commented on an issue on @Matt Reiner _K15t_ table visualization discussion page about pdf export not working for this feature. Is it just me or do I need to raise an issue with Atlassian?
-
@Matt Reiner _K15t_like you and a lot of other users I waited patiently for this feature to arrive and started trying it out when I got asked to help someone with a pdf export and found out the charts don't export to pdf. Here is a screenshot of my test page: When I exported it to PDF I originally got an error in the…
-
@Paula SusmanI don't know if you figured out what was happening with your instance but I have verified that the new parent link is there and working. I have been using Epic links and they are still there. I also tried using the parent link as well and have discovered it is an either-or set up at this time. I just set the…

@Stacy Gardnerif you have admin permissions you could use automation to set the resolution on the project tasks that aren't set in the workflow. Or ask the admins to add it for you. I've included the rule here:
-
@Stacy Gardnerit sounds like you hit a nerve with Nic. 😁 and Jira has hit a nerve with you. That said if you consider his explanation of Resolution and Status, your initial problem explanation seems weird. I'll assume you are talking about an issue visibility problem with a board. The most basic reasons for an issue not…
-
@Paul Douglas, I'm not an Atlassian know it all but your domain name seems weird. Our cloud premium subscription is hosted on an atlassian.net domain. That said, I'm going to go check my confluence to see if this is really up and running now.
