The first ink you shared (for the rule "Automatically add 3 sub-tasks on issue creation") worked for me but it too a little while before the rule displayed. I replicated the second issue of trying to access a template from the Most Popular category. Hopefully an Atlassian will be able to help soon. Use this link to see…

"Epic Link" = TICKET-123 can be used as part of a JQL search, which you then sane as a filter. That way you ca either subscribe to the filter to get an email list regularly or run the filter to see the results onscreen then use the Export button. "Epic Link" in (TICKET-123, TICKET-456) also works.

I remember having a similar set up for release notes around ~2010. You get something similar by using the Jira filter macro if the text you want to appear is in a specific field.

And now there is The Ultimate Guide to Jira Migrations

This is certainly an interesting topic to watch.

We are already into lost days! How very 2020!

Our guest speaker is no longer available in December. Given the limited response to the proposed event, I'll postpone organising our next event until after the new year.

Hahahaha!

Scrum.Org has a lot of great content on their website with learning paths for each course. You can also take practice tests which uses actual exam questions. The value of the course is not just in whether it helps you pass the exam or not, I found it valuable from a professional development sense, as I heard about many…

Two of your requirements clash with each other so you will need to decide which one is more important: * We want all issues/bugs that are generated for each customer to have sequential numbering * We'd like to have all non-conformances contained in a single Jira project
-
To achieve something close to this you would need a separate project for each customer. Epic#1/KANBAN Board#1: Customer A * ANCR-1 (Issue#1) * ANCR-2 (Issue#2) * ANCR-3 (Issue#3) Epic#2/KANBAN Board#2: Customer B * BNCR-1 (Issue#1) * BNCR-2 (Issue#2) * BNCR-3 (Issue#3) Epic#3/KANBAN Board#3: Customer C * CNCR-1 (Issue#1) *…

Confluence pages allow for comments to be made at the bottom of each page without going into the Edit screens. Replies can be nested so discussions on particular questions are separated. In-line comments can also be made, with replies added without going to the Edit screen. Can you give more detail about why either of…

Forcing people to log time can lead to the creation of worklogs but do not necessary result in accurate results. Getting accurate timesheets is a challenge we at TechTime know well. After many attempts at gamification, persuasion by meme, and constant nagging we developed an app which is now available on the Atlassian…

It started okay The idealistic persons with Aquarius ascendant draw attention to their fellow human beings through their creative and intelligent spirit. The next bit was on track They develop many ideas to help shape their environment actively. They want to make changes; nothing is worse than stagnation. But clicking…

Hi @Sarah Fletcher {Tempo} - you might like to post this in the Diversity & Inclusion group. Will there be a recording sent out to anyone who registers but does not/cannot attend?

There are some interesting wording changes: * I like that "development team" has gone allowing for a more unified feeling to the scrum team * It will be interesting to see the impact of the word "accountabilities" rather than roles will make to the job titles/descriptions of those who are scrum masters and product owners.…

Deleting a customer from an organisation will not change the reporter on the ticket. You could still look up the (inactive) customer to find all issues reported by them. Editing the members of an organisation only affects who can see tickets where that organisation has been listed as a request participant. If you have…

@Brant Schroeder - I agree that it is too easy to move through levels right now but I am hoping this is because it is in pilot-mode. It could be demotivating to quickly earn the first 10 levels within a couple of months then have no (or very few) challenges left to do. At which of the current badge levels is someone before…

An advent calendar is a countdown typically of the 24 days from December 1 to Christmas Eve. Traditionally they were made of card and you opened a 'window' each day to reveal a picture. There are also ones with a tiny chocolate behind each window or any type of gift. Check out this coffee themed option…

Filter subscriptions are an under-utilised feature of Jira.

My child is finally old enough to (hopefully) understand the waiting and fun involved with an advent calendar so he is getting his first one this year. I was so excited to buy him one with chocolates because I never got one like that growing up (though I was equally happy with the biblical themed and generic Santa paper…

I posted on a different Friday Fun thread and it worked. No refresh required.

There is a distinct lack of cupcake pictures in this cupcake thread! Growing up, cupcakes were small cakes with simple icing usually for children. In recent years they have become monstrosities of icing and fillings. I do love the idea of 'cupcake pull apart cakes' where you get the convenience of pre-portioned cake with…

It's kinda weird to keep earning "a Level 3 bonus for answering a question!" when I am no longer level 3.

Why no Fri-yay for me? :P I participated in the same post as another person - they got the badge and I didn't. *pouts*

What a frustrating issue!

Hi Brian. You are welcome to post your questions in the Bitbucket product section where you should get some helpful answers. Good luck

An organization in JSD/JSM is just a way to easily share visibility of a ticket to a group of people. The organization is always a request participant not the reporter. Removing someone from an organization will reduce the number of tickets they can see but they will still see any tickets where they are the reporter or…

You could create a transition that is only available to a small group of people like admins that can move a ticket from any status to resolved. Users without access will not see this super transition status.
