What part of NZ are you in? Consider reaching out to NZ-based solution partners for a chat over coffee (https://partnerdirectory.atlassian.com/?f_regions=apac&country=NZ). Some solution partners provide consulting services, others develop apps for the Marketplace, some provide managed services for companies that want a…

Here is an article I wrote a few years back which may interest you @alison.eyring - My experiences with the Health Monitor play - Atlassian Community

Planting trees sounds good especially when I can do it from my computer chair while inside.

Nice to see your name again John.

Sadly this mission has been delayed as my main device is Linux which doesn't play nicely with the online exam tools. I'll figure it out in the ext 2.5 months.

Wow! This is so unexpected and for something that really was a team effort.

Keep an eye out for future Wellington ACE events - these may be in-person or virtual. You may also like to reach out to @Rob Kitchen - TechTime who helps our of local events and loves to talk about both Atlassian and New Zealand!

Hi @Dimitri Rupp @ We have had a couple of events focused on Cloud Migrations. Is there any particular areas you want to learn about or are you offering to present as I see you work for an Atlassian Solution Partner? Are you based in Wellington?

I would add subscribing to the relevant Statuspage pages for any Atlassian Cloud products you use. You can even get notifications into a Slack feed if that suits you.

It's been a brave new world for me in May (just in time for this meet-less challenge). As a coordinator, I stopped attending the daily stand-up meeting. Any priority changes are shared in a dedicated chat channel before the stand-up and any blockers are shared back to me via the channel or email. Thanks over an hour each…

The discord group never really took off.

Great! @Rob Kitchen - TechTime will be helping me organise the next event.

This play becomes more valuable over time as you make incremental changes and re-rate how the team feels.
-
@Ankit - Can you provide more details about why your recommendation for data center from 250+ users? Atlassian's cloud roadmap shows current support for 10,000 users with plans for support of up to 35,000 users. Their existing product already has (some) security certifications, many marketplace apps, unlimited storage on…

At first glance you may want to add some brackets to group related clauses together. The order of operations with long queries with a mixture of AND and OR is not always intuitive. You have the clause "project = "ABC"" twice but is not easy to see the purpose of this without spending time breaking down the query.

Creating template Trello boards pre-populated with template cards is easy and very useful. Check out this guide.

You can use Jira Boards and Dashboard to display tickets from multiple "Jira projects". A "Jira project" is a technical difference indicated by the issue key. Your project teams should be able to view and interact with issues from more than one "Jira Project". * "Jira project" used to emphasis the difference from this…

I have had 30 home addresses plus some time couch surfing in 38 years. I had to check a spreadsheet I made last year to confirm the number. I had a couple of boxes that moved with me though the last half a dozen places. An interesting item that has travel with me a long time is some plastic containers given to be to hold…

This change is definitely one to watch. Some companies may be able a save on JSM agent licenses but switching internal requests to use the approvals and forms coming to Jira Work Management. The calendar visualisation could have interesting applications too.

We have the same chicken here!

Where I work we have a single service desk project for all incoming support queries. We have customer-specific Jira projects for tracking project tasks and as a home for the customer-specific epic. Customer-specific boards/dashboards/reports include tickets from multiple projects. As part of the triage process these are…

Here is Atlassian's Best practices on using the "Resolution" field however it does give advice of when/how to use specific options. Im my experience: * 'Won't Fix' is used when a fix will not be implemented for reasons like that version of the software is not supported any more. * 'Duplicate' is used on one or more…

All of our customers log requests to the same support email address. We manually assign a customer-specific epic or general epic like "presales" for services customers and for product customers we have product-specific epics. We run reports using JQL as needed and use the '(Find related issues)' link alongside the "Domain…

Why would you like a separate queue per client? The reasons may help people give suggestion that are more useful for you. Here is a screenshot of some of the queues we use. This list is followed by a queue for each agent. When we want to visualise open issues for a customer we use Boards and Confluence pages with Jira…

Je l'ai déplacé dans la zone "Jira" car c'était dans la zone pour parler de la Communauté. ---------- (translated with Google Translate) I have moved this to the "Jira" area as it was in the area for talking about the Community.

@Ben Thoma or @Julia should be along soon to help out but raising a support request using the link Linda provided may be quicker.

This is stunning!!

I'll be interested in using this play with other teams in future. The Team Playbook is an amazing collection of resources.

Done :)

Hi @GameDev This article is slightly out-of-date now but it separates the Atlassian courses into courses for users (including Jira Essentials) and courses for Administrators. There is also the range of free skillbuilder courses which are more of an intermediate level and have an optional exam. Typically people sit these…
