Hi @Elif Alverson I think setting it up like this would give you what you are looking for. You'd want one condition to be related issues and then you can choose that the Stories/Tasks are not present.
-
I’m totally down!
-
Hi @Eduardo Bentes Carneiro Understood. You can get the solution via the use case that was discussed in this post: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Automation-questions/Automation-Transition-Issues-to-Archive-after-Done-for-3-Days/qaq-p/2520021
-
I'm not sure at this point. It seems like it could be a bug. I requested Atlassian Support to check this out. Someone should reach out in the next day or so.
-
Can you view the settings outlined here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Service-Management/Re-enable-rich-text-formatting/qaq-p/2687678/comment-id/168813#M168813

Also, this is going to probably sound weird, but if you have Confluence, paste the text you intend to put in the field into a blank page, then copy and paste that text from the page into the field and try again.
-
Is the field set as plain text or RTF?
-
Hi @Brian Kirwa Is there any pasted content in the field when you are experiencing this? Any hyperlinks or non-text content?
-
Hi @Eduardo Bentes Carneiro Can you explain a little more about the problem you are trying to solve with this automation? My questions start with: * What will the transition from Analysis tell you? * How will you know that Analysis has been completed? * Assuming Analysis is done by a person, why isn't that person…

Hi @Todd Winton Check out the recipe here: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/automation-template-library/sync-work You should be able to structure yours in a similar way to get the desired result.
-
Hi @Sunitha Pavuluri Are you able to see any epics besides the active sprint ones? Can you confirm the current sprint epics have stories/tasks associated to them?
-
Hey @Dee B There is a special JQL statement for that! Here you go: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/using-the-request-channel-type-property-on-filters-1188759288.html These JQL statements should get you what you need: request-channel-type = jirarequest-channel-type = portalrequest-channel-type =…
-
Hi @Graeme Doyle Apologies that you are getting spammed with nothing but plugin recommendations. From a process perspective, I don't think cycle time is the right thing to measure for your use case. If you are doing sprints, the cycle time is the length of the sprint. The stories are either complete or they're not. The…

Hi @Gopisetty, Durgesh Check out some of the recommendations made here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/How-to-create-tab-containers-tab-pages-using-html-in-confluence/qaq-p/2447441

Hi @Julieta Dienstmann With Jira you have the flexibility to create custom issue types with any type of custom field. The only mandatory field is the Summary (title) of the issue. You could easily create a new issue type called "Learnings" (or similar) and then add whichever fields make the most sense for your findings.…
-
Hi @Dennis Goncalves "Sub-task" is not a field. It's an issue type. If I understand what you are trying to search for, you want only a specific Sub-task of a specific Task? I'm assuming this Task has multiple Sub-tasks but you only want to identify a specific one? Is GDP-73 the Sub-task issue key or is it the key for the…

Hi @Otavio Cordoba I'd always recommend using company-managed projects for JSM. You're already paying for the full suite of features and team-managed will always be a lightweight version. You just need to utilize page restrictions to hide the right articles from customers. Create or utilize an existing group that has your…
-
@Otavio Cordoba Okay so I believe this comes down to how you have project/customer permissions set up. Can you confirm how you have the settings configured for each project? Also, have you been able to test with a customer account to see what they are seeing when they login/search?
-
Hi @Otavio Cordoba Your site should have it by now but multiple help centers were just rolled out as a new feature. https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/create-and-manage-help-centers/ Please check the documentation and see if you have the option to create an additional Help Center.

Hi @Christa Meck To further expand on @Walter Buggenhout's comment, if the user in question does not need to have access to configure the layout, I'd recommend removing them from the Project Admin, Product Admin, or Site Admin role which they are a part of. Once they are removed, they will no longer see the button.
-
The fact that you can build a document approval process OOTB now with a couple simple automations is such a great feature. I can't wait to see more automation possibilities in the future.
-
Being able to summarize an entire page of information in seconds (without needing to go to ChatGPT) is fantastic. I can't wait to see what else it will be able to do this time next year.
-
How will this work with Whiteboards that have linked Jira tickets? How will that show up publicly?
-
I gotta be honest, when Whiteboards first came out in Beta, my immediate reaction was "another white boarding app?!" But, thanks to the constant innovation and new features being released, I'm confident this can compete with other diagramming apps and let customers potentially ditch them all together. I'm glad Atlassian is…
-
I can't believe I didn't realize I could do this until now! Late to the party but glad to be here.
-
Hi @Jennifer Claxton You can technically create Sprints when new Jira projects are created via Automation. However, you have to pre-select a board in order to do that. So, the project and board would need to be created and named first. And there is no OOTB automation that can create a board. Ultimately, you probably need…
-
Hi @Stacy Lalumondier I was able to replicate what you are encountering. Based on my experience, this was probably by design in order to get people to use JSW project templates if they are going to use Story Points. As a workaround you can utilize the Issues View and save a filter with the Story Points column visible.
-
Hi @Alexis Normandia I requested Atlassian Support to take a look at this post. It will take a couple days though. Have you tried clearing cache and restarting?
-
Conditions work fine if everyone is always fully aware of the process. Validators at least come with messages that tell the user what is needed to go to the next step.
-
Hi @Noc32 You might be able to get most of the way there by using the CHANGED operator. But it has limited fields it can query. However, it does work for Assignee. https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/jql-operators/#CHANGED Your additional examples would need a plugin to enhance the search capabilities.
